I did join hera for about 3 weeks. Complete waist of my time the gold bots in there are running all over the place no bots where banned from joymax mass ban. The fortress war has not worked since it opened. And there are no low level parties if i really wanted to join a server with legits i would join venus just because i can actually log in there.

glad you guys still ocntinue to have success, too bad i wasnt with from the start (or had the time >.<). I would join these parties but the server traffic/dc...plus im taking a break from sro since im pretty busy nowadays

Left Hera (and SRO) for RL reasons. I still have my 37 warrior, which I kinda miss. I can still log-in if I want to because I still have premium, but bleh.

Venus kept me from coming... It had better options, and a community already founded in stone, only problem tbh are the gold bots. Also Venus doesn't have as many gold bots as Hera and the 0x33 people are tough cookies to beat. finally the 24/7 traffic

I didn't come to Hera because:

1) Was already on Venus.
2) Hera has no Chinese guild (that is legit).
3) Asylum is made of win and don't want to leave them behind.

I was gunna but it took so long i joined venus and never looked back

Some corrections Casey,

I think 1 Warrior is enough for parties, unless you're at Niya Snipers or Niya Generals. A bard is needed, for Moving March and MP healings. Having another Wizard for better DPS is better than having the second Bard to cast dances, because dances doesn't add that much damage until higher levels.

Finally... Hera needs you!

it's kinda unfair you compare us to completely mature servers.. we only got 2000 cap on traffic... so of course we ALWAYS got traffic.

By the way if you're active and legit and login in everyday for atleast an hour i'd love to have you in my academy and get you to level 40 in less than a week

I didn't come to hera cause I didn't like the name But I will most likely be on the next new server. I figured it would have been completely filled with bots in days.

Ok first of all, the chick in your sig isnt hot at all, she looks like a fugly slut. (i always want to say that after looking at ur sig)

2.)you probably made 3 hardcore bots leave the server? you havnt done anything to scare them out, its just a big load of talk. Yeah you guys own the bots in pvp and fortress war, doesnt mean they are less in numbers.

3.)server traffic, hera only has 2000 slots, its usualy crowded because of the large amount of players trying to log on (legits) and gold bots, you cant say shit, hera doesnt have any more than venus or any other server.

4.)no fortress war makes the server sooooo unfun to play, i mean, who doesnt love paying 20% tax in jangan? (avalon proves legits are just as greedy when it comes to botter guilds with the money from taxes)

5.)We dont want to hear how much you love venus in hera threads, i think alot of us are OVER you guys boasting about how good venus is.

Wiz x2
Warlock x1 (these really come in handy with PTG's)
Bar x2 (dancing is always fun.)
Cle x1
Warrior x1 (if no warlock then 1 1h war and 1 2h war and keep one near the back of the pt with the ints)
Rogue x1 (despite current beliefs rogues are used to pull the mobs towards the warrior, therefore not useless. That’s why the xbow has such range)

This 4 wizard party business is simply rediculous/lazy. Ive been in good parties with just 1 wiz. And it excelled.

There is no real "best" party for the entire game, but some parties are better then others on a few areas. I'd suggest a:

2 tanks (always 2 tanks, especially at 40+)
1 cleric (you will never need more then 1)
2 bards (especially at higher levels, lower levels replace 1 bard with dmg dealer)
2 wizards (obvious)
1 warlock (having a warlock instead of 3rd dmg dealer is worth it)


Thats a perfect party.

I didn't come to hera cause... ITS OVERCROWDED!!! its crowded even after inspection . and its capacity still hasnt been raised .

and BTW Venus has a lot of bots, its about the same as to any other server, except Venus has more goldbots, and lesser player bots. and Odin is a lot funner cause ATLEAST PPL DONT FLAME BACK AND FORTH WITH GLOBALS. those legit vs. bot spaaming is just too stupid .

Venus is stuck at a 2500 cap, meaning it wont be able to reach the potential of goldbots that a 3000 or 3500 cap could. I really hope it stays at this cap forever, or until theres 2500 legits in it. I dunno why people say Venus has alot of goldbots, the only ones I see are in the Chinese side, not really affecting much.

but if u look in other servers, there are very low amounts of gold bots in the euro side too. Venus is usually called a legit server, not cause it has low amounts of bots, but it has very low amounts of player bots.

U'll need atleast 1 bard. Trust me. Maybe because u guys dont have a good bard. At lvl 7X, bard is a must or ur wizards and cleric will suffer from no mp. U'll believe it when u reached it.

This is how we do it most of the time in Avalon :-
2 warriors
1 cleric
1 bard
4 wizards (or 1 warlock and 3 wizards)

Guess what? All the ppl in that pt got to 80 already.

Yeah, people underestimate the power of bards. It's not that bad to have two of them in one party. While one heals MP, the other one can nuke, and their nukes are not exactly weak either because they're so fast. Especially the Booming Chord, Weird Chord, and Booming Wave. Maybe if you join a random party, they will be advertising for "Need Tanks, Clerics, and Wiz", but after you party with them and leave, you can look back at party matching and it will say "Need Tanks, Clerics, Wiz, and Bard!"

We've learned the value of the bard in our high level parties. Our General parties have at least one.

I've played as a bard in the Guard parties and was kept very busy healing mp, reducing cleric aggro, and attacking whenever I could find a spare moment. Keeping up with the mp needs of the ints is a full-time job - especially on PTGTs.

And don't forget the ability of the bard to distract/clean up stray mobs when they spawn next to the wizards - which they always seem to do right when the tanks are luring or otherwise engaged. I've deliberately aggro'd champs that spawned near the wizards because I can take a hit or two until the tanks can get to us. No Life Control ftw.
