Do you guys not see it lol

Yes of course we see it, but nobody else is going to want to join Silkroad. In my opinion, there are more people leaving the game than joining. All the new players are made up of goldbots and playerbots. How does Joymax expect to get any money from 3500 gold bots?

Silly MooMooMoo look at this...

Server Crowded = more premium sales = a little more money for Joymax

-OR-

Server populated, many of SRO's problems gone = happy customers = happy customers that buy MORE silk (rather than just premium) = lots of money for Joymax.

Happy customers tend to throw their money at a company. Would Joymax rather have angry customers who cave in and buy a premium 'just to log on this #*@#!@ game', or happy customers who are willing to not only buy premium for the stats, but many other items as well?

Thats the solution right there!

P2P

would = customer support and company action to enforce rules.

Lowering EXP/SXP (just like cSRO) and gold rate won't fix the log in problems. The gold botters would just log off and log in as and when needed.

I think the best solution is to charge like $5 dollars for everyone to make an account and make it a one time fee only. That way, gold companies can't register a ton of gold bot accounts.

And with all the ways that Joymax offers people to pay, it should not be a major problem. If anyone has anything to add to this, I'd like to hear. :)

^Interesting ... And if they ban some accounts from time to time ... Goldbots will be forced to make new accounts which will lead to their failure --> and the whole company would fail ...

One thing guys ... how did JM earn money when there wasnt Item Mall?

Licenses. They develop games, SRO is not their only venue.

I don't remember a time there was no Item Mall. Since August 06' and before, you were getting gold ticket on char-setup so Item Mall already existed then and that's about the game's start as far as I am aware.

Why does it require P2P to make this game what it used to be? Take cSRO for example. They have bots, many bots. Those are players bots though! You won't see their servers full and prices go sky-high because the company fights against things that really ruin it.
And it does require minimal administration if you use the legits even - they got some Support button in-game and I suppose that's a live ticket to the GMs.

Player bots are the lesser evil really. I know that for me, it doesn't make me feel worse if someone is happy that he got a level 90 account. I play for my own fun and that's it.

In the end, JoyMax won't bother to ever change the current situation. Fact is, to change it they'll need to put money into the game (large amounts) and the result - banning of players that bring money, more than legits probably. Shooting yourself in the foot is not a wise business way to go.
