i still dont get it, why would u choose firefox, because it have some extra "security" settings or addons more? i dont see any point in downloading not needed programs to my computer, and in fact those who say firefox load pages quicker, sorry but i could never notice it being faster than IE, besides im used to IE look and it simple design...
but anyways i guess everyone chooses what he likes more, im not here to tell u what to use, tho ill say what i think :p

Personally, what I love about Firefox is that I can customize it the way I like. I can find skins I like, add on an FTP client, javascript and web dev tools that make life way easier on me... and NoScript and AdBlock have become my best friends. I like the way tabs work better in FF as opposed to IE7. But the number 1 reason I simply cannot use IE at all... Firefox gives me the ability to search "on-the-fly" (Ctrl-F). I use this feature constantly.

Some ppl don't see the need to use anything other than the browser their computer came with, and that's fine. Some ppl want the added functionality and customizations they can get with FF or Opera. As of the first quarter of 2008, almost 25% of page views are reportedly from browsers other than IE, up from 5% just 5 years ago. Apparently, people like freedom of choice.

Internet explorer is gay...You should have added Netscape and opera to poll. Also an "other" option

Internet Explorer 7 runs great for me.
don't see any other reason to switch to another browser.

Firefox with Adblock, Mousegestures, Statusbar Clock, Greasemonkey, and the Winamp plugin, and the speed tweaks applied.

Safari.
Opera has problems handling some pages. That is the only thing that Safari beats it in, and my reason to use Safari.
