I do. Specially with the youtube and spoiler codes.
I guess I'm ashamed to say this but I don't use any of the features

I only really use mouse guestures and tabs and stuff, I never use notes, I just use notepad out of force of habit, lol.
Oh yeah, speed dial too... that's awesome. I'm teaching myself to use the built in google bar thing, because I usually do "4, enter" because that's how I get to google, but now I just type in "g " then search terms... If that makes sense. It probably makes sense to opera users.

Or you could just enter your term on the adress bar, press down on your keyboard, and press
ENTER .
(I'm using
Opera 9.5 here)
Quick tips:
Opera:config -- Turn off Turbo mode -- Max Connections Server (to something low, I use 2) -- Max Connections Total (128) -- CTRL+F12 -- Advanced -- History -- Adresses (100) -- Check Documents (always) -- Check Images (Every week) ~~ I use this setup and I get pretty fast speeds. Ya'll try it out and see if it gives your setup any improvement.

Opera's cache works really well for some reason. The best of all browsers out there ATM. Luckily enough it is free now though, you used to have to pay for it...

Tools>Quick Preferences>Block all pop-ups
The unwanted pop up blocker is working fine for me though (that's the default).
[EDIT:] Or wait, did you mean popups, or ads like ads on the page? If on the page, I'm not 100% sure how to do it yet, but ads never really bother me.

Right mouse click > Block content > *click away* > Done.
SERGEANT EDIT: Opera 9.5 has been UNVEILED!
http://www.opera.com/ Woohoo. Even though I've been using it for quite a while...its still exciting to see it officially released to the public.

I just downloaded Opera. I still think FireFox is faster than Opera.

Just tried 9.5. Awesome, except no Google Toolbar. Thus, fail.

In my opinion, Opera > FireFox. However, which one I use depends on what I'm doing.

Any solutions for the Google Tool thing?
Besides that brutal widget... *shivers*

are you still able to type directly into the URL bar "g ijnafdbsjlad" and it will go to google and look up "ijnafdbsjlad"? If so, just do that.

I think neither is inherently better than the other and it's pretty much down to personal preference. With the new versions recently released, the differences in speed and CPU usage with each is negligible.
I have both Firefox and Opera installed on my computer (among other browsers), but my preferred browser is Firefox. Out of the box I think Opera offers more "features". However, if you like to tinker around and tweak things until they're exactly as you like, Firefox offers much more potential. With numerous add-ons and themes to choose from, you can customize it exactly as you like--both cosmetically and in functionality. Stuff like mouse gestures and any other feature you can think of is easily installed via add-ons. So technically you can have the best features of every browser in Firefox (assuming someone has created the desired feature as an add-on).
