Ok my client download is at ~27 hours.... is that right? does that happen for most people? wtf? help please.

I was just downloading from the site and it said ~27 hours

1. go to a computer store
2. buy one of the most expensive ones
3. set up pc
4 download new link from filefront

Only step 4 is good enough. Dont do 1 till 3.

Dont use the JM downloader, that one sucks.

if u use jm's torrent to download it, it will take you 100 hrs

It says something about legend 3 and that its not out yet or something and it wont let me play.

Lot of misinformed people in this thread. The time it takes to DL the client doesn't have much to do with your pc, a shitty setup with 128mb of ram and a 800mhz cpu could download it in 30min on a T1 connection.. It all depends on your INTERNET connection, not your pc.

So, someone on dialup, just give up, and for the rest it will just depend what speed you have from your isp. I live out in the boonies so the best internet I can get is EVDO (cell phone) and it took 3hrs with the filefront link.

The torrent is slow because it depends on other people uploading, i.e "seeding", it to you.. If no fast connections are seeding it then you will DL slow... direct link is fast because you are pretty much guaranteed fast download from filefront's dedicated server.

Just wanted to clear that up, "your pc sucks" annoyed me. lol

Mine was done in like 20 mins, u on dial up or something dude? or maybe a high amount of people downloading the client simultaneously.

http://www.silkroadonline.net/ Check the announcements, they have a filefront one that is good.

For those of you that say why not use Fudges' or Nightblooms', Not everyone knows them so they aren't gonna trust a stranger IMO.

Just thought I'd share it incase ppl are still using the crappy torrent.
