Just now finished cooking some pasta shells, threw in some grated carrots and peas. Then took some white sauce (not a 'true Alfredo' but made with cream, Parmesan and Romano) and blended some spices together with some mayo for a quick sauce. After boiling the pasta, added about 1c of grated cheese (I love sharp and keep it handy). Then tossed it (cheese first to melt) with the pasta and sauce. Okay - 1st step is the pasta salad base - that into the refrigerator as I thaw (running water, not microwave) and then rub olive oil (and light salt) onto a couple boneless, skinless chicken breasts before searing in a hot fry pan then baking. After cooking they too go into the refrigerator. Tomorrow will cut the chickun and mix it in. Serves about 5 ppl, or two meals for one (1) hungry Grandpa.  ~Granps

God Damn.... I'm hungry again. But its 1:am >:( I'll just eat cereal BTW: That was the first time I had food like that in about a year...
