Well.. the thing that bothers me is when I'm playing Cleric ... I cant give physical and magical defense buffs to people if they have their Ice and Fire buff (for defense) ...
So I need to ask them to remove them ... my buffs are usually stronger than their ... so I think Joymax should make us able to replace buffs , by only casting them ...

Image

And the thing I hate is that when someone walks a little bit away from me ... his head in party (the left part of screen thing) ... is fully blue and I cant follow him ,so I can cast buffs on him ... so I need to search him T.T

Anyone here feels the same I do?

humm...i dont know man, if they have reached that lvl they should at least know that you can give those buff for them to take it off themselves. I always do when a cleric is in the same party as me.

another thing is that being a cleric is frustrating, BUFF PLS PUFFF DUFFF...i hate it
that why if it get to the point i leave the party

that happens when you've no idea of the people in your party and viceversa.

Thats what i love of my guild/union. Every1 knows their job so well that we play perfectly. We know who/when to buff (str, int, fences, screens, bard skills, etc, etc).

I always laugh at the little Chinese nublets using their little ice and fire defense buffs when they could have buffs that are twice as strong and last for 30 minutes :P While smart people will take them off.

ya that always annoyed me too, or like in fws where the group would just go in 2 directions after every one having agreeed to follow one person and i loose all the buffs on them cause they split off, or people keep running away form me while i'm buffing them, cleric can be annoying as such when people don't cooperate but the chinese buffs would be nice to over write

+1 to almost everyone with the very smart answers,

Can they cancel those buffs ?

my own point about replacing buff is that it would be used by stupid-azz ,
you know, the type using a multi for theyr " themselves"-cleric to buff them, ( in pvp or job )

they will replace your buff and cancel them .

Not really the point of a cleric though, is it?

Also as a side note i still think the buffs should stack. It would give at least some purpose to a mutli-race pt.

referring to you being able to replace them, NO

mainly because in job wars i would get the lvl 1 mag and phy def of cleric and go buffing the other team so they have worse buffs

I've been playing this game for quite a while, since before August 2006, and I had no idea you could trace a party member by selecting their picture. I always just followed their dot on the mini-map radar :banghead:

Exactly my thoughts. I'd just make a cleric, go to south DW, and piss off all the high levels pvping. Then, imagine that in a war. =.=

Ame's partys rox. Easily 50% in 3hours if not more ;)

I always give up my buffs for a cleric, problem is most clerics take an hour to finally give you the buffs lol. And I'm not sure, but I think roc mtn might be bugged or something. Share partys distance seems to be much shorter then anywhere else... O_o Thats good though, a little bit harder to plvl =P

Those pt icons were clickable way before euro came out.

I knew you could select players through the pt icons, but I never even considered that you could then trace them. I assume you can exchange with them as well.

I used to use those icons to heal party members way back when I was around lvl 30 and actually had healing skills in the force tree. This was before euro was even thought about, so the pt icons were clickable back then.

About the fact that you can't trace them if the pic is blue ,

If the picture is blue , it means they are out of the party range, ( and thus lost almost all the ranged buff like bard's or int/str )

most likely if walk after such a noob other party members will loose theyr buff.

I say noob because that is his job to stay in range, or to come back and ask for rebuff.

How about the idiots that laugh at you when you give them buffs in CTF? I just take the buffs off and watch them die quicker. :P

Last CTF I went to I don't think the Chinese nukers could figure out why they couldn't kill me. I went bard since there was another full cleric on my team.
Cleric buffs + RD + mana tambour = I kill nukers before they kill me. :D
