Its so ironic that im actually reviving this..

But an inactive srf member, skulldiver, sent me a video of him doing ( what i think ) is him doing this shuffling thing. Hope you like it ^_^

I personally thought it looked silly ( and i told him ) but i realize the skill and practice it would take. I haven't seen too much of this stuff but he looks good at it ( even though i hate the dancing so much ).

He's a good shuffler, only 2 bad he jumps way offbeat and also 2 slow for it to fit to hardstyle. Probably because the song was just simply put into the vid, and not properly synch'd. He's actually very good.

I already thought someone would notice, but I'll give it a quick explanation.
First of all, A friend filmed it, and because I never edited anything I asked him to edit it.
Ofcourse, being all new to the whole hardstyle/shuffling thing, he just put some songs that people use on youtube (Esp. the melb shuffle compilations from jack40k.)
What he doesn't realise, is that the music i used on the phone there had a waaaaay slower bpm.
I was shuffling on house music, so I assumed he'd either just let that music or add some house music.
Guess I was wrong, anyway, I'm not mad at him or anything, not his fault.
I don't shuffle all that much to hardstyle.
I can manage to hit the bpm of hardstyle, but if you just came back from a football game ~2 hours earlier it's really exhausting to constantly keep up with ~140/150 bpm.(a.k.a ; hardstyle speed)
And because I also had a exam party (yay, passed my exams btw )that evening, I decided to just take it easy and shuffle on some house music.

So, I'm sure I'll get alot of flok from some members here, but I don't care.
Shuffling is something one of a kind, and you really don't understand until you've been to a rave and see hundreds of people totally flipping and going wild on the music.

So for all the other people here who want to learn it, PRACTICE, practice gets you there guys.
Start on something slow, for example the beat of a rap number, or just without music.
Then slowly start using more faster music, Ie tektonik.

I think I'd rather get laughed at then see this thread fall in the dark depths of srfs inactive corner.

OMG gast, je voelt je ruiger dan een "jumper" ? Je beseft natuurlijk wel dat hardstyle nog 10x zieliger is dan jump. Als je dan toch stoer en hard wil zijn, dan luister je gewoon naar de muziek waar je hardestijl kutmuziek van is gejat, ik mag hopen dat je weet wat.

Idioot, leer lezen, als je dan toch zo'n achterlijke post gaat maken. Zorg dan in ieder geval dat je alles goed hebt doorgelezen.

Als je gelezen had, als je dat al kan (kijkende naar jou post, niet), dan had je geweten dat ik een hekel heb aan al die om even te quoten: "Hardestijl kutmuziek", en alles wat er bij komt.

Plus, als je eventjes een klein beetje meer je best had gedaan op welke opleiding die jij dan ook gevolgd mag hebben, dan had je begrepen dat die comment grappig bedoelt was. Zoals de rest dat wel snapte. Of het jou humor is, is een tweede, maar daar gaf je ook geen blijk van.

Lol, funny.
Jumpstyle was nice for parties and such, till it became commercial and kids started to do it.
Now hardstyle is the new jumpstyle and I don't think it will become that commercial.

Btw, didn't know hardstyle was that known in other countries then Belgium and Holland

At least in Sweden ive never ever seen anyone shuffle, though if I do ill beat his ass with some c-walking + bboying + street dancing.
