Some of us dont have the machines to run Vista.

F that, some of us don't want to deal with countless bugs and the fact of stupidity.

The difference between XP and Vista is like Customer Service.

When you're using XP, it's like talking to a customer representative.
When you're using Vista, it's like hearing an option menu "If you'd like to connect to the internet, press 1. If you'd like to cap a bitch because Vista is terrible, press 2."

Wrong. You fail at digital hearsay.

Vista really is not that bad. It does exactly what I need it to do, and has that little bit more than xp. Sure it takes a little bit more to run, but afaiac its just as good if not better than xp.

When I got my new laptop I thought I was going to hate vista an was planning on installing xp, I haven't had issues that warranted me installing xp yet :)

Euhm, no?

I'd rather have the default vista theme than the XP one.

Same as Xemnas said, Vista aint that bad, and never been bad, they only had one bad update, and that was only for a type of mouses.

Same, I bought a pc when vista just came out, and never had any problems with it.
Except that one update, but less than a day later I had another update that fixed it. ;)

what music player is that in the corner?

Interested myself. I used to be one of those people who rebelled against vista, but now I use it. I like it, runs with AoC fine, eq2 perfectly, and pretty much anything I want.

Since I know from experience, half of the people that slander vista have never even owned vista. They look at what is written on the internet and they assume that is right and begin preaching it themselves.

Same, I'll admit, I thought Vista was going to be terrible solely based on what I had read. But as I said, it eint half bad.

sry for bumping the topic, but EVERY single program i have downloaded (i.e. Windowsblind, TopThemesXP, and others), have a trial for 30 days for the free versions...

i really need a program that lets me keep the themes. if anyone can tell me a program here that does not have a limited trial or pm me their "modded" version of a program ill appreciate it. :)

Don't use a program, just use Glazzer (think its called) to patch your uxtheme.dll (or just do it manually) and download windows themes.

If your on xp, try here:
http://www.studio7designs.com/windows-themes/
