Well ... in future , quests wont link that much (on chinese side) ... You dont need to do them all ... example , when you are grinding on PowerEarth Ghost Warriors ... take quest for killing them ...

Just take the quests for monsters where you are levelling up.

The posters above are right, just take quests where you're grinding. In my opinion they really don't help, for instance seeing a number of mobs you have to kill for every kill such as 497/1500 is damn annoying to see. Also I'd say Skill Points are alot more valuable than Percent and I only know of 1 or 2 quests that give SP as a reward.

I used to to quests... Then i went to only doing "kill x number of y" -quests... And now i dont do any quests since they give bad SP, if any at all.

Quests for chinese is good, but for euro when you're in a party you should never stay at the mobs for very long.. If you're soloing euro get quests(especially the ones with SP)

I do the quests when unionmates aren't around to party grind... i'm a wiz/bard, so it's pretty fast to do the killing quests
I say just do the quests if you really want to hit the next level or something... otherwise you'll be making up for the lack of sp later on by farming.
I hate the quests where you pick up stuff tho... cuz it eats up my inventory space and I don't use any silk, so no pet to store my drops and stuff during grinding.. =[

quests usually reward with plenty of exp but lack sp-exp. i found myself at earlier levels leveling up too fast without sufficient to level up skills. i hardly quest now. just log in, spend about 2 hours shooting some mobs ... feel good about it ... and log off to sleep. when i wanna make big level-mastery gaps, i complete quests and claim exp rewards later to level up faster to make that gap. and i do inventory expansion quests. that's useful for me.

Oh, just to add something on other viewers. The truth about Quests They are just merely objects that makes you forget that your actually grinding at all, and its just there to give you something to do. So it don't really matter

When you hit 45+ quests will start to help a lot. At least they do for me.

I only do quests for a couple reasons: -the inventory expansions (duh)
-easy exp to fully gap into 9gap (unless you are willing to curst heart your masteries)
-(Unique kills) multiple uses. Ivy and Goria proved to be usefull when a server first comes out because everyone wants help killing it. Therefor, giving you the aportunitty to get more exp quickly. (IMO, Cerberus is a waste of time. Ivy is OK because the reward in the end is 15 zerk scrolls and 5 repair hammers For only about 2 quick quests and generally 3 longer quests. Goria is Bleh...No one does her quests.
-Grinding at your spot so in the end you get more than you needed
*TIP* Don't grind on monsters lower than you, or change spots to START a new quest. Most of the time it isn't worth it. IMO if you are already half way through a quest, finish it.
