How well do you know your build. If your a wizard for the first time grind to 30 + if your warrior or abladr you can get away with playing less and still understanding sort of. Grind @ least 10% of each lvl or lvl where u get new skills os u know how they work.

Everyone stop being absolute pricks about it.
They generally result in flaming, because it was provoked by poster #2. Also they probably don't know the real answer and therefore decide to up their post count by flaming.
If 2 gap takes 2 hours, and 1 gap takes 1 hour, therefore 3 gap takes 3 hours. No one really knows because not enough information was given. I can tell you though, 2 gap is faster than 3 =]

Well it generally depends on what level you are. The higher lvl, the bigger the difference in time. At lvls less than 40, you probably won't even notice the difference between a 2 and a 3 gap. I didn't notice the difference in gap until mine was at about 5 and i'm talking about lvl 7x where the difference is significantly more noticeable. anyway...if u are planning on gapping for a long time, i'd say take a 3 or 4 gap. If you plan on farming in large quantities, take the smaller gap to lvl up fast and then farm with a 9 gap. PS. i know that some of the guys on here are being a bit harsh towards the number of threads you're posting but if you can, try to find some of your answers on your own. we're all here to help but just try to keep the number of threads to a minimum. You can always post your questions in existing threads dealing with similar topics. Search button FTW. andycooly wrote: just answer teh dam question and you probably shouldn't speak that way to the rest of the forum members. it won't improve your chances of getting your question answered. it will probably just end up with you getting flamed and possibly banned for hostility towards others.

Hey, never heard to decide/find out something yourself? God damn your questions are so stupid, Should we all now create a new char, lvl up to your level, then go 3 gap and calculate it for you? No one Farking can answer that question with such small amount of infos. Next time you want something answered, give people more infos.
I couldn't resist.

Come on people, stop being mean ok? This world is too nice of a place to be mean As far as your question of taking sub warrior, i say its not needed. The difference between the phy defense of armor and light armor is so small that it doesn't justify taking an extra gap for it. Also as far as your leveling speed question is concerned, if you take a 3 gap you will gain exp at 10% slower than he does. But this figure is per kill and the real factor you need to take into account is whether or not you get kills faster than he does. If your killing the same mobs 10% faster than him, in theory you will level up at the same time.

no, i say its not.
By taking it just for the extra defense, you are forcing yourself to use armor thats 3 levels below you instead of two levels. By doing so you loose defense so it completely defeats the purpose of doing it.
Just stay with your 2 gap =)

lvling guide for every build.
step 1. create a char, dont ever make another one unless you are above lvl 60. step 2. lvl up to lvl 16 and have a 9 gap. step 3. get power lvled at ongs for a ridiculously long time so you have a very high amount of sp. (over 200k is a good idea) step 4. whilst you cant find a plvl. get gold some how, elements dont make gold anymore so dont bother wasting your time with that. you NEED gold to BUY plvls. step 5. get plvled at ongs till 30 (for nukers new nukes. bladers new combos. bow anti devil bow and new combo and so on... step 6. close your gap to 30 so you can get these skills step 7. 3gap all the way. this is not slow lvling and if it is, close your gap and dont complain you dont hav enough sp and need to farm again. step 8. get to 90 and post on srf NEWLY ACCOMPLISHED!
thanks for reading this guide. note on euro sub-classes. farming should get u enough sp to 3gap all the way. just farm a lot, maybe 200k is enough im nt sure.
about gear. china - garm for speed then u can change at a higher lvl because you can. euro - it doesnt matter too much about your armor 2bh. wear what u want.
i say it doesnt matter because you get used 2 wearing the same thing over time.

@andycooly
Listen mate, your new to Silkroad I can understand that. These guys who are making fun of you do not know everything themselves so do not worry. About your question, the reason why they are making fun of you is:
1. Usually euro chars are created with a main class(in your case rogue) and a SUB-class(you want warrior as sub). The sub-class is usually taken to make the main class more effective for example as rogue the 2 main builds are rogue/cleric or rogue/bard (cleric being able to give buffs like bless, recovery division etc and Bard mostly for buff to increase speed greatly). You want to choose warrior as sub-class just for heavy armour however you fail to realise that a rogue build is pure str, no int at all... so your physical defence(str chars always have high phys def) is already high, going heavy armour will only make it higher HOWEVER your mag defence will suck and any pure int class will kick your arse.
2. You post too little info about your char or what you train on or any specific details and expect a straight forward answer. To be honest at lvl 18 you should not notice a huge difference between 2 and 3 gap. Leveling at that low lvl is quite fast.
3. People here who have been playing for ages can go make a char and get to level 27 within 3 hours or so simply by doing plvl... so they ridicule you because of this.
Just have fun with ur mate, don't use warrior as sub-class, go bard or cleric.

^ Andy ... People actually get confused ... When people say "Edit your thread" ... they dont mean editing first post and removing it ... It makes some people confuse ... Try doing it this way ... Start a topic called "Andy Needs Help" ... And write in it this. Code: 1. Question : <insert question here> (if you get your answer , type) /solved. 2. Question : <insert question here> (if it isnt solved , type) /still waiting for ideas
Or something like that ... try to speak proper english (for god's sake you are from Australia) and ask your questions a little better ... Give us more information ... and dont ask retard questions. So ... make a new topic , with all your questions involved in it ... so mods can lock your alot of your topics ... P.S. dont double post
