trying to make it official

Hey.

So, i'm planning to ask this girl to be my girlfriend this weekend.

I know her for like 5 months now; we started "talking" about 3 months ago, and gotten real close. just last week Her and I went on our first date to the movies (we're not goin out yet), and it was really great for both of us. I paid for her even though she insisted, and i popped a tire (-.- OH WHY!) on the way there, but I managed to put up the spare one.. took me 15 min. We watched the Dark Knight (AWESOME!)

So now its August 1st, she said she might be able to meet me tomorrow (saturday), and knowing her parents, she probably has a curfew.

Now tomorrow i plan to ask her.. maybe take her to the park by her house and go for a walk, maybe buy her flowers and then ask her then and there? But flowers are kinda overrated. Maybe play a guitar for her or sing a song..

The only thing is, she might not trust me as much as I'd like to.. cause she gets jealous of when I'm around other girls..

She already told me she likes me and quite frankly i do too, she even said she was ready for me. All i have to do is man up and ask her. I have a car and money and all that, so I can do pretty much anything ..

so for replys...

So i ask, if you have a b/f or g/f, how did they ask you out? Or if you are single, what would be a really cute way of asking a girl/guy out?

I'm looking for other ways i can go about doing it. I know i know, BE MYSELF. Yeah, i will.

Yeeaaah, success! I did it! Wasn't the conventional "Will you go out w/ me" "Yes" type response, but after everything's all said and done, it's good.

and as for asking her out, i guess we got paparazzi ;]. I decided to make name cards saying "I'm with ____" with the arrows. hah, obviously it worked.

She said she likes you so she should be happy however you decide to do it. I don't think flowers are over rated but you know her taste. Just do what you think is right.

dont give all your efforts(I mean dont give everything for her), Just try your best to make her happy, bcuz if all fears are just right, you might end up hurting her more than yourself...

song.... nah. maybe if you two were already going out then that would be cool but if you write a song to ask her out, idk man, just seems a lil... obsessed bout her.

the park thing sounds very good but some kind of physical activity before that, like mini golf or bowling are great date ideas. after whatever you two do, take her to the park at night without telling her what your going to do there. bring a blanket with 1 or 2 pillows, and tell her that its such a beautiful night, that we should gaze up at the stars. lay the blanket down with the pillows and lay down. hopefully if everything goes right, she will lay down next to you, and your heads will be close enough to one another for when the time is right and after you tell her how beautiful she looks, you look at her, she looks at you and you guys kiss :love:

Asking somebody to be your g/f might not mean the same thing to you as it does to me.
She's already dropped hints, "Ready for you".
I'd take her word for that.

hmm..

she didn't text me back after i asked her where i could meet her at....

that's a bad sign..

i mean we were texting back and forth for like 3texts.. and then when i popped the question she just stopped responding.

should i call her when i wake up in the morning? or let it be...? =/.. it IS her ultimate responsiblity to reply back, or to CALL ME.. right?

she did this a couple time sbefore, when i ask her really deep critical questions ,she didn't respond..

don't stress. i highly doubt that she is "avoiding" you because you want to go chill with her. i don't think her logic is, "maybe if i don't respond to this, he will forget that he asked and we don't have to meet. hehe... i wonder whats new on 4chan... hmmmz" ya... i would give her a call round 1ish, that way she has had lunch and is happy.

Its normal for girls to get jealous, just as long as it isnt overboard. As long as it doesn't get in the way of your relationship, I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Thanks for all the insight and support, and yeah, it's 1am here, pretty crazy about what happeend. It turned out she couldnt come out and meet me up so she had to sneak out. I waited for a while but it was all worth it. Went to Starbucks and it was kickass from there. Talked about how we first met and all the memories we had, and finally, brought up the question. Cooo.
