I have to say, it's a lot of fun. I know, I know, the Iphone is way over-hyped, and I used to be completely against it. I came to realize however, that I just didn't like it because of the hype, and decided I might as well give it a try before I make conclusions. I'm quite happy with my decision, and am currently taking full advantage of my $200 mini-computer.

I was quite thankful that my 2-year contract with Verizon finally ended. Was able to make the swap to ATT with ease.

Even with the added data plan, thanks to student discount, my bill is STILL lower than it was with Verizon (although I'll miss Verizon's AMAZING signal coverage :-/).

My contract ends in September - but I went fishing last weekend with my dad and his boss, and his boss gave me a blackberry (swapped the sim card). It's nice but I want an iphone. We'll see, it's all really up to how much student aid i'm going to get.

You go to your nearest ATT store with your student ID and say "I'm a student, and I would like the discount applied to my account". They'll complete the process for you.

After playing with my Iphone (read: downloading shitloads of apps), I'm starting to enjoy it more and more. Way better than my old Voyager.

My contract with T-mobile isn't done yet, i'm figuring out if i can still get it by renewing my contract a bit too early, since thats what a lot of people have done. I do really wants it still. Shame the black version has a miles long waiting list still.

I'ma go get mine in December when I turn 18, hopefully the waiting lists are down to 0 at that time

got mine yesterday too its farking awesome . i put all my music on it and hooked it up to my surround sound system, if i use the headphone jack to do it even calls come through the surround sound.

4G would be a stupid name i agree. Since 4G as a service is totally pointless to, heck, some might argue that the iphone is allready 4G.

Tho they will be making improvements on other aspects on the phone, and apple always has been quite fast with updates (look at the nano's). So who knows. We might get an Iphone reloaded someday.

yeah, you can renew your contract 4 months before your contract ends if i'm not mistaken.

Naw not what i meant, a lot of people renewed they're contracts far before that abusing the lost & stolen function on the website. Sadly, that isn't possible anymore.

Lucky you. I ordered the 8g and it took 2.5 weeks -_-

The waiting list for the black 16G is about 2 weeks here, the white one only a couple of days.

I work in a telephone store myself, and know some people at the T-mobilie shop, so i decided to go and asked them how many Iphones they sold thusfar. Right about now, T-mobile sold 37.000 subscriptions with an Iphone, and many kore are still in the que.

yea XD. im ordering a nice rubber case for it now cus i have a tendancy to drop ipods/phones.
