Does drop rate depend on char?

Everyone says it's random, but 8x char w/ 2 sos drops total and a 4x char w/ 12+ drops. Just doesn't add up for one char to be so unlucky and another have sox drops out the ying yang. You'd think the drop rates would be a bit closer than that. One character shouldn't be that lucky and the other be so unlucky. :banghead:

i have never had a drop with my lvl 50 nuker i ahve a wizard on sparta and he got 2 sos drops from tigers

I see a lot of big talk with no proof, no flame intended but if I post here that I found three SUNs in one day then what will I accomplish without proof? Anyone can say they found insane drops, but proving you actually found them.... :roll:
