but, my fav is Icing. I'd stone Cpinney for killing harmless porcupines. Oh and shun the dog for being stupid enough to attack an animal covered in huge needles.

until someone suggests a way of moving this thing without getting stuck with the pines, you shuld shut up.
he oblivously didnt know how to kill an animal nor had the means to do it properly

My dog also got in a fight with one, he was so retarded just kept on biting it.
Eventually his tongue was totally numb and was bleeding. He also smashed his paw on it a couple of times only to run away limp and screaming like hell. That obviously made him come back with more barking and biting.
I didn't kill the porcupine just took my dog inside. Dogs are pretty tough tbh, he got pierced all through his paw and his tongue and only screamed when it happened and never showed any pain after.

serious suggestion, who has one of them in their house, and they are designed to keep bee's out the pines will piece that
dogs may be resiliant but if that thing lived under his house, with little to no way of properly moving it, the dog will keep attacking it. it could get blinded, get infection or even in extreme cases animals have been known to die.

You say you didnt want to kill it yet you tried to decapitate it with an ice pick? And shot it with a peddle gun?
Sorry but to me your story does infact make you sound mentaly instable.
IF you really have no other way of getting rid of it use a god damn butcher knife or something to cut its head off.
+1 to everything takolin said.

u shot it with a pellet gun to try to move it from underneath my porch there was no other way i could get to it and i didnt have anything long enough to poke it with. finnaly it moved on its own to the edge underneath the porch.
yes i didnt want to kill it i love animals but this is the 4th time this has happened this year and we just recently found it living under my porch. and if u didnt know it takes 50-150 dollars to get the things removed from the dogs face/paws. and not having a lot of money to spare atm it was justified and just the fact it was living under my porch and ripping the shit out of our kayaks was enough incentive.
and i would think decapitating it would be the fastest way for the thing to go rather then stabbing it like 100 times with a pitchfork and a rake.
and a butcher knife? really? lol one you would be bound to get quills in your arm trying to do that, and two it would take a couple swipes to take its head off. then you got to deal with the blood and shit everywhere so no thanks.
and you cant blame my dogs for attacking it, it was living under our house aka "IN THERE TERRITORY". so of course they are gonna try to attack it and get it out.

I guess if you're not some kind of elite trained in the one hit kill of an animal, you're mentally unstable if you kill it any other way. lol I would have done the same as cpinney or tried to crush the head with a cinder block or something. Like he said, it was on his property and tried decapitating it. I'm glad I don't have such pests in my area.

Quote: Porcupine sex is not the exercise in S&M you might imagine but it does have its kinky aspects. I quote from Roze: "Perhaps the strangest aspect of the interaction is male urine-hosing of the female. The male approaches on his hind legs and tail, grunting in a low tone. His penis springs erect. He then becomes a urine cannon, squirting high-pressure jets of urine at the female. Everything suggests the urine is fired by ejaculation, not released by normal bladder pressure.... In less than a minute, a female may be thoroughly wetted from nose to tail."
So much for foreplay. If the female decides now is the time, she hoists up her rump a bit and raises her tail, the underside of which is quill-less, and curves it up over her back, covering the quills thereon and exposing her genitalia. The male then approaches in a gingerly manner from the rear, walking on his hind legs and taking care to touch nothing with his forepaws but the safe part of the tail. The relevant apparatus having been lined up, docking occurs, followed by "violent orgasm" as the male unloads a year's worth of jism. The act lasts 2-5 minutes and may be repeated several times during the half-day window of opportunity. pretty much...

Not sure whether that would be amazing or amazingly painful...

Am i the only one who thinks that the ppl who go out and beat up a porcupine because their dog decided to mess with it are crazy. I mean animals get in fights with other animals. If it was someone elses porcupine then i'd be mad or if it was a bigger animal like a wolf or something but i mean if my pet decided to write a check her tush couldn't cash she'd have to deal with the consequences. And you even said "again" so your dog was dumb enough to fight these things multiple times....you'd think he'd learn a lesson but no you stab, beat, and attempt to decapitate an animal who was probably just passing through when your dog decided to notice it and act retarded....
...thats f*cked up

its happened before right, so im guessing it was living under the porch, if you hose it away it will prolly try go back 'home' and if thats his house then theirs a problem.
its no different from killing a rat, and people kill them in some very sick ways

its no different from killing a rat, and people kill them in some very sick ways it probably happened with a different porcupine...cpinny said "A porcupine" not "THE porcupine" that implies that this was not the same porcupine and since he said it was hiding under his porch not "It lives under my porch" we can assume it was a temporary occupation of the porcupine. Rats are dirty and carry disease. This animal was passing through, got picked on by their dog, hid under the porch, then they hosed it out and proceeded to stab and beat it....theres no possible way your defending this especially with your weak arguments so just stop...

it was living under my porch, in a kayak, cause in one of them there was crap and needles and hair everywhere in it.
we saw the porcupine under the porch before but we didnt think or know it was living under it.
edit: locking cause there really is no more to say.
