LIES! Heck with all the 'help config my pc' topics I might as well tag along now while you're all warmed up Goal is medium / high end gaming, but I don't have to play everything completely maxed out, not spending over 1k Euro's at least. So yeah Text added because there's some Dutch stuff in there ^ I don't know if I should get faster RAM, or a different mobo, or if the power supply would be good for this. Thanks for any input!

I'd upgrade to a Q6660 or E8400.

800MHz memory probably just as cheap but faster, check if ur mobo supports it btw.
I'd also go for an E8400.

Okay I tried to configure a intel pc, similar parts but different processor and faster ram. I put in a slightly more expensive cpu than the E8400, no clue about itel though so I wonder if this would be somewhat balanced and better than the AMD ..and compatible too now I think of it. :\

Just get a new motherboard that has the right socket for the processor and you will be fine.

Site is http://www.norrod.nl pretty much the only computer store with custom build pcs in my city.

Does the hd 4850 really out perform the 8800? Well after I read the post about this card I googled around a bit and found a few sites where the difference between the 8800gt and the 4850 was discussed, and I saw multiple people saying that; at least for gaming.

Hmm, you should only really get a basic P5K or P5Q. all the other version have only some addons, the basics stay the same
