i doubt its a hoax, i mean why fake something that you would spend billions of dollars
on.

People call it a hoax because they are of the same ilk that dont want to or just out
right deny evolution.

they win the space race
cold war ends
russia no longer a threat, fidels out of our memo, no more missiles near us,
and americans yet again proclaim themselves as being #1 in the world by pulling off the biggest hoax in the world.
why not attempt to pull that off?

I say some are real, and some are fake.

Since evidence is clearly in the view of the youtube videos

Oh my god, how can you even say that?

I used to think it was real, but I'd say this is MORE than sufficient proof to show it's fake.
Plus, whenever someone falls on "the moon", they always fall flat on their ass. If they actually were in 1/6th gravity, they could just shoot out their arm and they'd bounce right back up.
And I believe the moon would be alot more dense than how they show it as being it has been relatively undisturbed for such a long period of time. But whenever they walk on the moon, they're shooting out sand everywhere.
I always noticed how they seemed to float too, but I figured it was just the angle of their boot or something. Also, there are inconsistancies with light sources, in the flag waving one, the "sun" is reflecting off of their visors, but you can also see a glare on the camera.

P.S. Also, wtf's with everyone thinking the flag is just gonna float like that? Maybe I'm just a retard, but wouldn't it fall down anyways? It's 1/6th gravity, and no atmosphere (well, there's a little atmosphere), but what is keeping it from falling limp?

space suits don't work that way.

The moon is a collectiong of of objects from space, things blow up and shit, creating sand. it's not made the same way as the sand on earth.

Also, there are inconsistancies with light sources,

land forms makes a difference.

the flag is supported by a rod

THEN AGAIN, YOU COULD JUST GO WATCH THAT MYTHBUSTERS EPISODE. EVERYTHING I JUST SAID CAME FROM THAT ONE EPISODE.

Meh X-Lax got there first, but whatever. Here's my reply anyway:

Yeah, since you've actually been to the moon and you can tell immediately how the original video is fake because of how they fall down. Come on man.

In the warehouse I work at, there's shelves with insane amounts of dust and shit. We're talking decades worth of the finest powder, laying dry and untouched. When you vacuum it up and empty the filter outside, the stuff covers everything and stays there. It even clouds like hell when you make the smallest movement, and when you pile it up, it's very easily imprinted. Think of chalk dust, only 50x more powdery.

Now, in the moon's case, like you said it's been untouched for a long time. But think of how many craters are on the moon, and the material that had to go somewhere in the collisions. All those particles and other things from the blast slowly falling to the surface of the moon, piling up and laying still because of the lack of wind or outside influence. Think of how much it would stir up and imprint in such a pristine environment being walked on for the first time.

In 1/6th the Earth's gravity, you'd probably tend to float more. As for the reflecting thing, remember this is the 60s, and they're recording shit in space. This is media right as it's getting out of black and white. If you ever watch old videos, like on the old school rock stations with Jimi Hendrix videos and shit, you'll notice any reflecting light is severely amplified and even trails on the old film. It stayed that way till around the late 80s I think, then stuff got clearer and more defined in film. I'd say it would be realistic to assume the large glare from the astronauts' visors is related to this.

Dude, lower gravity = less force pulling down on the object. Makes it easier for the momentum of the frame's movement to keep the flag "waving" around.

I'm all for discussing this, but you gotta understand this isn't Star Wars. And a lot of the feats required of the moon landing video to be fake would require it to be more advanced, visual effect-wise, nearly 8 years before Star Wars was even made. And we know how bad some of the effects in the original Star Wars was anyway.

Not to mention the thousands of people who worked on it. Sure, total cover up huh?
