I think the wolf will gain exp at whatever mobs the players are fighting at, and obviously the higher the mobs we go the more pet exp. So, "specific level of mob" shouldn't apply.

My understanding from the update is the wolf's level cannot be higher than the player!!?

CamRon wrote:

A: Yes, and if 8 or more members, 20% Increase in EXP!

How is this done? U mean a separate party of the wolves themselves? Not likely!!

CamRon wrote:

This suppose to be the case, but can anyone confirm at what level the wolf appearance change?

party of 8 or more to get 20% increase in EXP?

I thought the maximum number of players in party(share exp) was only 8.. Did they change this?

Also, isn't the 20% increase in EXP only apply to parties with EXP Distribution where the maximum number of players in the party is 4?

Yes I have seen the apearance change

Yes if you find mobs closer to your lvl, you get more EXP, thats all I was implying, thus the "Just like us" part.... didnt think that was confusing or misleading...

Maybe my english interpretation have so problem
And on the appearance change, someone mentions it will change at 40

maximum patrty member in XP share is 8 and gives out a 20% xp bonus if full and all in the same area.

Xp distribution has a maximum of 4 players in a party and gives 10% of Xp bonus without any range for players, which means one could be in hotan, two in donwhang and one in jangan, they'll all get 10% bonus XP thanks to the distribution party

Might also be the fact that is not a GUIDE, its a FAQ for beginners with wolves, and its just a collection of questions and answers that have already been posted.

Thanks for your support and effort!

1) You just did.

2) You didn't help out at all.

P.S. Wolves seem to get more HP than human characters.

Yes they do. Mine has not been under 50% HP and he is fighting mobs constantly with me.

Wolves cannot cast magic. They cannot nuke. They cannot zerk. They do not have AoE damage.

And to correct an earlier question, you can OWN wolves higher level than you, but you cannot SUMMON OR USE them untill you have reached that level.

Few things to consider adding.

1.) As Moogie pointed out to me earlier, the 2000gold HGP pots restore 10% of your wolf's HGP.

2.) HGP goes down at a rate of 1pt/3sec while not fighting

3.) Wolf gains XP equivalent to same level player w/ a 0 gap. I found this out by going to a 0 gap for part of one level, and my xp and pet xp were identical until I leveled. We were the same level, until I leveled, that is.

The image Kamoflage posted is slightly incorrect. So far, there's no wolf with armor in ISRO.
The wolf grows slightly bigger @ lvl30 and reach full growth @lvl 40.
There seems to be a slight difference in size comparing a lvl40+ wolf and a lvl 60+ wolf, but that's not confirmed.

It seems like they get bigger every 5 or 10 levels, if you ask me.

Ya agree...if you want to compare you can always take an SS with someone who has lvl 1 wolf and compare with your wolf. I just noticed that my wolf grew but very slightly only
