8 People showed up.

We played a practice round then they split us into groups of 4. I was in the first group, we just finished playing. Next group plays after lunch. Top two from each group go to final round. Finals at 3 PST and the top 2 from there go to Korea.

They gave us goodie bags with a Silkroad T-Shirt (I have like 5 at home anyway), a GNGWC 2008 keychain and a silkroad mini flash drive that holds 2 GB.

My god if I was in that tournament I would be hitting my screenshot button so often I wouldn't ever have a FPS > 2. Just because I would be able to say I did such n such.... xD

being close to cali where they do the 2nd round is basically what they look for.

yea and somebody missed it cause they couldnt fly to cali for the 2nd part. Joymax doesnt fund for the 2nd round trip.

well this round was a point game which takes plays in the cave with you getting points by killing mobs uniques and each other.

well there is a very hi drop rate of sun in the cave so we get sun som or star in there and fight away

Umm, out of the people in final round, me and Brue did not win. The other two guys did.

I got raped. I couldn't do shit for damage on people without zerk and got destroyed by crits. Oh well.

Was a good time. Good luck to the guys who are going, bring the SRO championship back to the US!

Yeah, I definitely should've toned down the first round. Made myself too much of a target. Could've prolly changed things up a bit, maybe gone with a different build for finals would've helped.
