Im contemplating on moving to Venus again. The server traffic in Sparta is becoming a huge annoyance. But the thing is I don't buy premium, but have a level 87 Pure STR Glavier and a 76 Pure Int S/S. Is it allowed for me to sell to people for cash or gold? Will I get banned if I post it up on EBay? Please let me know as quick as possible. I wanna get rid of those accounts so I can start my adventure on Venus. GO LEGITS!

you will certainly get banned from srf if you try to sell
it for cash or gold. and i think it's in joymax' ToS as well.

Well I mean I wont sell it here. I like this community. I just want to start over and get rid of those characters but make some sort of profit from the time invested on them. I wont advertise of course.

A friend of mine got banned from here for selling his char (also not through here, he just had it in his sig). So if you're planning on selling, make sure the mods here don't find out lol.

If it's against JM's ToS then it is a bannable offence on SRF [Mostly].

Now, depending on SRF's stance then ban could be severe or not.

So if you sell accept the ban or make sure no one finds out. :P

They will find out. They ALWAYS find out!

I'm pretty sure it's also against Joymax TOS to sell your character. You don't own your character. Joymax does, so you can't sell it. Sure, you own the time invested, but how do you sell time?

People sell accounts all the time i've seen them on ebay and other sites. No way to stop it and its not just silkroad either all other mmo's.

People just wont some money for the amount of time they have invested in the game. Why let it sit there and waste?

I also understand the rules here but why do we have to follow silkroad online tos when there poorly readable and misleading. Can't we make our own rules? Isn't this just a fan forum?

People scalp tickets at concerts all the time too. It's still illegal if I'm not mistaken. Just because a lot of people do it doesn't make it right.

Personally, I wouldn't want someone running around a server with my name. I also wouldn't want to run around a server with someone else's name. Names generally come with a reputation, good or bad, whether you tried to make one or not. It just wouldn't be the same in someone else's hands.

It's not that Im lazy. Believe me Im willing to start from scratch. Its the fact that I dont have much money and wanted to see if there was a high chance of getting banned if I sold the account. Meaning that the person with the account would get banned making me feel guilty. But since its TOO much of a risk I just rather let it sit there and die. I might get drunk and change the password so I wont remember it 100%.

or just sell it to a friend a little bit cheaper than what you would get at ebay.
