It's more pvp orientated, as stated by the devs. It's a pvpmmo after all.
If it has better pvp than wow has yet to be determined.

RvR is very different then just PvP, on a larger scale.
PvP mechanics can be totally useless/broken in a larger scale, so this is when RvR game design comes in.
How would a game turn out if the designers said "What about RvR?" "Leave it, it's just PvP",
PVP = Player Versus Player
RvR = Realm Vs Realm [Or one large entity]
They are two very different things.

They are two very different things. In appearance they are, in reality you're just pvping people from other realms.
