My Brother has gone Missing.

I'm not normally the kind of person to post stuff like this on here, but I am very worried about my younger brother. No one has heard from him in 2 weeks. We have tried a number of times to call him on his mobile phone, and it goes straight onto answer machine, which means it is turned off. He was staying in Leeds and my older brother said he was very depressed living up there, he then moved down to Southend and that was the last time any one has heard from him.
Now I am worried sick that something bad has happened to him or he has done something really stupid. He has never done anything like this before, he always stays in contact with my older brother or my mum. But no one has heard from him.
I just don't know what to do, without getting the police involved. I just hope he is ok

Has anyone got any suggestions on what to do?

ever heard of the first 48?
if a person goes missing its best to search for them within the first 48 hours otherwise most trails go cold and it becomes much harder to find them. (or something like that ^^)

or there is always the possibility that he had his phone turned off and it fell under his bed or something 2 weeks ago

Even if he has lost his phone, or broken his phone. There are other ways to get in contact with us.

I think it might be the only way to find him is to get the police involved.

I only found out Saturday that my older brother hasn't heard from him, my older brother lives about 600 miles away but they keep in contact often. I contacted my mum yesterday and she said she hasn't heard from him in 2 weeks.

But once I speak to my mum again, we are then going to go to the police.

i'd get the police ASAP.

i used to get lost when i was a teenager after my father died, i stayed at my friend's house and didnt talk to anyone for days. I made my mom really worried and it wasnt a good thing after all.
I hope he contacts with you and make sure to poke him when you meet him!

We have contacted the police and they said they cannot do anything without a fixed address to go on. We have also contacted the hospital in Southend and he hasn't been admitted there..

Don't know what else to do..
