Nukers usually dont get Phys skills.. All nukes
This is one thing that I'd advise otherwise. You do need soul spear and ghost petal level 1 to get to 3X in the first place. I'd say skip the chains, wolf, and the dancing demon though. Unlike a lot of people, I took Heuskal to 31 to get Flying Dragon-flow.
The reason is that it's a 200% attack skill (although phys). That means it'll take a little longer than shout, but does end up doing 2X the damage (since it gets mag + phys dmg while shout only gets the mag). It makes finishing off enemies that don't die after a nuke a lot easier. Here's an example of what I ran into:
When I was level 32 and used my 32 sos + 3 spear, I could fire nuke + lit nuke + shout + regular attack Black Robbers to kill them. Sometimes though, the imbue would run out before I got the regular attack in, so I'd either have to reimbue or run and shout again.
Now, I could also kill them if I used fire nuke + lit nuke + dragon in one sequence. I could have substituted soul spear or ghost petal, but those skills require you to be right on the enemy. Dragon is a ranged attack that does as much damage about as soul and petal, so it's a perfect substitution skill to use when shout cannot finish off a mob.
Sure, someone's going to say "you shouldn't be grinding on reds" but meh, if you got the gear to do it
Anyways, I use a combo of nukes and dragon rather than nukes and shout. Crits don't add much to my dragon, but when they do happen, it's a nice little bonus. Unlike other people I did invest in the phys buffs because of my strategy in PvP. It's working fine for me, but I have a different play style than a lot of other people.
At high levels, of course all of this is useless, but you do have to get to the high level in the first place. To do that, I am going to use phys skills when needed.
