Hi

I just got my copy of WoW last weekend and started a Night Elf Warrior at Sporegarr. Currently lv16 questing at Darkshore, but I've been dying to the monsters listed to the quest? I've been spending on my talent points on Protection tree, 5 on the shield thing and another 2 on dodge. Am I doing it wrong?

To be honest, your best bet is leveling as Fury or Arms instead of Prot early on, due to more talents to boost your damage. Later on you'll be able to level effectively as Prot though.

In relation to the quests, I know that all too well from when i was in Darkshore on my hunter. (though nowhere near as bad for you, was hell on my priest though) If you have the expansion installed, I would suggest heading on over to Bloodmyst Isle and doing some fo the quests at Blood Watch. (green quests you'll be able to do quickly and still get good XP for)

What level are the mobs? How many are you taking on at a time? what rotation/weapon are you using?

There's this Furbolg quest, where I have to go to their camp and get 3 food samples and put them in a bonfire to summon a satyr. I can't seem to get a 1on1 duel with the Satyr, I aggro all the damn Furbolgs whenever I try to get close to the Satyr.

There's also this quest where I have to collect mushrooms from this cave, but there's Nagas in there, god damn aggro + healer. :banghead:

Oh yea, I'm using One handed sword + Shield by the way, don't think NELF warriors can use two hand weapons..

NE warriors can use 2H swords and maces. n other stuff.

With a summon quest just fully clear one side, and aggro the summoned mob from that side.

And that naga quest is shit, i remember that :/

Go to Auberdine, take the boat right at the end; it takes you to Azuremyst. Follow the path around near the Exodar entrance, and follow the path north until you cross a bridge to Bloodmyst. Then just follow the path to Blood Watch.

I know those quests, and hated them. I did them at about Lv18 I think it was. See if you can group up for them, if not the naga one is a huge pain in the ass but the furbolg one is possible if you can clear the area first, or use a bow to pull the satyr out of the camp.

As for 2H weapons, ask the guard to point you to a weapons trainer in town. If they can't teach you what you want, they'll tell you who can. :)

Haha, I knew it. Should I reroll as a Human Warrior maybe? Thanks a lot, Mr. T. :banghead:

Do I still need to master it? I got a nice dagger once but my dagger mastery was shit and it was dealing 1 damage per attack. :banghead:

The Furbolgs respawns faster than me, but I think the Satyr level was too high, it was like 19 or something. Died 3 consecutive times there last night. :banghead:

Stupid Naga Sirens :banghead:

I actually did a 1on1 with the Satyr, but I think he's too high for me. I got his hp down to like 1/3, but he goes into Frenzy and I got screwed. Gonna try to go to Bloodmyst.

Any new weapons need to be skilled up. Which reminds me I've been lazy and need to level my guns skill sometime...

If that's the case just come back and do those quests later. Aside from Bloodmyst, I'd also suggest doing some quests in Westfall including the Defias Brotherhood chain to lead up to your first dungeon. :)

I know! I've ran DM on every char past 20, about 20times. Love it!

Ok, think I'm not gonna reroll first. Move to Bloodmyst and Westfall and see how thing goes. I'm also gonna stick with Prot tree for the time being. Thanks for the advices.

it still has nothing on Zul'Farrak's stair fight though. =D

Good luck with the questing baka. =] We're here if you've got any questions. Also don't be afraid to message me when I'm on my realm if you need help. (Hisana or Vaida on Cealestrasz, under the Oceanic tab and only super active on weekends) I'm more then happy to help. ^^

Should try and find a group on my undead mage.

Good luck not getting gangraped on the way to the instance door. Alliance has quests in the area leading up to the portal, and I'm guessing Al'Akir is a PvP serer.

EDIT: Also ignore the last bit of my previous message. Didn't realise Sporregar was a Euro realm. That's what, just me, ExSoldier and Entangle I think on the US version? =[

Well i have had some experience playing as a mage, for about 2 years, so i'm not worried about anything below 21.

In my short time playing a Horde character on a PvP realm, it's the 70s going to run lowbies you have to watch out for. =[

Yeah, that's the 'not below 21' thing.

Played the horde mage abit. Pretty cool, lots of fun with randoms.

Btw, question, should i get wrath, what to do then:

Stay alliance, lvl the 70 to 80.

Or lvl the (more fun i guess) undead mage.
