i guess everyone wastes enough time on sro for grinding pvping.. etc. anyone who has more time to spare making snakes should seriously find something usefull to do with his time.

So why do you play this game? If you know that grinding, pvping is a waste of time?

You know a game is crap when this kind of suggestion comes up.

So do you have a better suggestion?
Or i heard enough whining and ppl don't really know what they really want

We'd do it to have fun, not to keep the game alive >.>

I guess but if you think about it alot of users are coming up with these ideas in order to keep it alive. Sometimes this game is so boring, sometimes it can be really fun (Fortress War and Job Wars).

ya after a couple of months wen some1 maybe gets to lvl 50 fort and job wars would make the game more fun :banghead:

Horse races, Walking races, Dog walks from Jangan to Donwhang, and you know what. They were fun.

Most of you been probably playing only since 80 cap so would have no idea how Silkroad was back in its prime.

People need to relax here. MMORPGs give you a wide range of freedom that these suggestions are normal. We play hide and seek - Constantinople only or even the entire map, with prizes. Others global questions, and those who answer get a prize. The game is flexible enough to allow all sorts of things. You can even cover an entire city floor with dropped trade goods if you want.

As long as your having fun, it's all good. If in your entire gaming history of SRO, you haven't tried a simple form of entertainment that deviates from the suggested gameplay, then I suggest you try doing it. Make more of what this game is. Actually, make more of what any game is.

Just don't cheat. :P

I agree, it seems that people have forgotten that games are to be played for fun. Not obligation

Better yet lets pack as many people into a tent outside of donwhang. Maybe something like this will make the game come alive again! Actually wait, I don't have enough time on my hands to do this because I have a life, lets make sure everyone on silkroad forums knows it that I have a life by making replies saying you don't have a life.

[/sarcasm]

we kinda did that with thiefs on troy, somewhere in the beginning off 80 cap.
had loads off thiefs on oxes, all tracing each other, making a longg line, and then we did a Thief trade 8)
Pure boredom ftw ^^

ofcourse i might be wrong and this could turn out to be fun.. but im not trying it out b4 i acheive some more important stuff.(get full farmed, get elected as president of USA.. etc)

No harm in doing something "different" in SRO for a change. Variety is the spice of life. Snake races, lvl 30 horse races Jangan to Hotan, hide and seek, wedding ceremonies... rape and pillage wedding ceremony guests...

@topic starter - Snake races are an interesting idea, but I don't think it'd work very well. For one, the distance between each member using trace would be far too long. For another thing, each person tracing would not follow the actual path of the leader. They would "cut corners" similar to how the back tires of an 18-wheeler trails behind the truck cutting the corner. The "Union Snake" wouldn't slither very well.

Get a line of 50 people "snaking" from donwhang south to the Chinese ferry (through chakjis) and the tail end would probably be trying to go through the taoist canyon.
