Oh my, she don't look happy at all, wearing that suit.

@ MrJoey I think Warriors can wear all 4 of them, but they all stick with either mail or plate for survival purposes.

There's 4 armors available, cloth, leather, mail, plate. Most classes can only use one or two of them though. My druid can only use cloth and leather. Warriors can use mail and plate, maybe even leather. There is a lot of clothing combinations, but there are add-ons that'll show you what the stats do, and if the equipment is better or worse than the one you currently have equipped. The most difficult part of this game, is probably raids or pvp, since you have to be fairly well organized and know what you're doing.

Thanks Joey :) Your help is greatly appreciated.

I'm really really tempted to go out and get WoW. I just need that one nudge to pull me over. I just don't know, i'm at a loss for MMOs and I really want to find a good one. I've on played on Private servers, but i've heards those aren't exactly a good representative.
I just dunno if I should get it =P.

I'll give you a free trial because I'm such a lovely person. PM me :)

Plus, I'm going to use one of my MANY free trials to "try" the game on official. If anyone want's to help me, teach me the basics, also too please PM me. :)

you need to lvl a character up to lvl 55 in order to make a death knight. good luck on ur free trial, but the trial really blows compared to the real game =[

So, which server we gonna play on? We can stumble through the game together, figuring things out as we go :) .

This is so true. Probably why I hated the trial. No General chat to talk in, no AH to use, no starting groups...

Snoop, if you have any questions before I head off to work feel free to throw me a message into my inbox.

I have right now, no idea which server to play on. I'm guessing we can try the one that GT is on, because well, he's online :P. Unless someone more experienced is online :P

Snoop, you would probably be better off on an Oceanic server, where more people are active at night. Thinking more for ease of grouping then anything else here.

Oh okay, well I'm right now on School holidays, but Oceanic server sounds good. There's still plenty of people playing them? Not as laggy? etc. With Silkroad I used to try have to do American hours.

I downloaded the trial a few months back, and i absolutely hated it. Now i bought the game, and I like it, its definitely a reason to uninstall any other mmorpg games on your computer lol (it is for me). But if you don't want to pay a subscription or whatever, Runes of Magic is an excellent alternative. Its basically the same game with a few tweaks. I highly suggest trying Runes of Magic before buying WoW so you don't buy it then think "omfg i hate this game, i wasted my money". The reason I bought WoW was because I played RoM and it was a freaking good game. The reason why I didn't just stick to RoM was because a good chunk of my friends play WoW.

Yea, well I'd play RoM except the download is like 3.7 gig or something crazy, and on Australian internet that would take like... 3 days, which imo is not worth it. I'm an extremely impatient person, When I want something, I want it instantly! Which is generally why I'd rather Pay more and BUY something rather than download it.

Besides, I got Burning Crusade for $24AU and WotLK for $36AU (BC: $16US, WotLK $24US - not bad if you ask me). Love my All-Interactive Australia connections :)

Still plenty of people, should be reasonably aci=tive during the day right now due to holidays, and always active at night. Servers actually based around and for people in our timezone. :)

I've decided (since long before when i played pservers a year or two ago) that every time I roll a warrior, he will be fury (unless special circumstances). So, on official i'm gonna roll a fury warrior again. Do they suck as much as they do in p.servers? Will I be shunned by raid/pvp groups? :(

PvP wise I would say Arms is the best Warrior talent tree, following with Protection and Fury. Fury warriors will be decent DPSers in group and Titan Grip is just too sexy.

Just a shame TG needs thick amounts of hit and expertise to even TRY and vs an MS warrior in DPS.

I heard that Blizzard is gonna remove the hit penalty from Titan Grip.

And Piootr, Warriors just got buffed recently with new skills and whatnot.

Quick question which kinda bothers me:

Builds are centered around talents and their distributions. I want to know if it's worth getting skills that have no talents invested in that tree. For example, should I get the restoration skills (or even the feral skills) for a Druid if my planned build is a DPS (balance) one? Or should a hunter avoid marksmanship skills if the talents are heavily distributed on the beast tree?

Cant remember if i mentioned it but im raiding now! :O

Only 10 level 80s in the guild and we arnt exactly the best mix of classes but its good, we manage to get through. We've managed to clear 3 wings of naxx now and today we got to gothik before calling it a day

We managed to pull through loatheb and gluth after only a few wipes even though it seemed impossible at first, we were nowhere near killing them but all of a sudden it just all worked. Gluth went down about 5 seconds after his enrange timer was up :O I had to stop kiting the adds and just dps the crap out of him to get him down in time!

@prophet izaach:

Its best just to get all skills, if youre in a group and someone asks you to do something and you say, "i cant, i didnt buy that skill" they are just gonna kick you. Even if your talents arnt in a particular tree, it dosnt mean you arnt gonna need the skills at some point

Talking about raids... Just did Obsidian Sanctum and it was really really really really easy, comparable with the Archavon, both short and easy raids.

Don't know if you know this already Innovacious but there are some really good videos on YouTube by TankSpot about tactics for raids. Found it really useful, especially with the Heigan boss, though we only made it thanks to the flares.

And..

Spoiler!

What the fuck is this shit?

I really can't tell lol. By the way it is said that I need Malygos for that achievement, which is one tough nut to crack.
