For bosses, I recall using: DoT Spells (Warlock) -> Stun -> Life Turnover/Control (Wizard) -> Nukes (Wizard) Life Turnover/Control actually increases the damage of your Warlock DoT spells.
This actually makes sense, since when you are in zerk with Warlock your damage doubles, and when you get out of zerk, and the dot that has done double damage (and it is still on opponent), reduces its damage to normal value.
Can someone confirm this what is bolded? It actually makes sense. (No, this isnt C&S topic.)

LifeControl does the following : Magical Damage 25% increase, Magical AtP 59 increase, hp reduce .. that is at level 1, so i think that it is very possible that it will work.

Level: 3x Guild: CosaNostra Build: Rogue/Bard Farming: 4gap FTW Questing all the way! Even if it screws with my SP. Rev6
Well, do the warlocks dots benefit only from that "25% damage increase"... Otherwise it would mean that if I cast dot with a lv.64 WarlockRod, then switch to lv.8 staff, the damage of Dot would reduce....

I was a wizlock a while ago, and yes it does increase the damage. The dots do magical damage and turnover increases magical attack power, so they do a bit more damage. I don't think they benefit from the 25% damage increase though.

You won't need that damage anyways, a Warlock's job is to kill the enemy nice and slow, not do crazy damage like a Wizard does.
yeah but think this, a guy with full sun, and you a wizard warlock, so first u put stun on him, put DoTs, and some debuffs. Then you put him to sleep
Then use the lightning kb and use meteor thats install kill
Only thing that a Warlock should be worried about is a Cleric. If there is no Cleric around, everything in its way CAN be killed. Look at Yurka's Warlock videos. Even though he does have a Sun Warlock Rod, he's a Warlock/Cleric. He doesn't need that extra damage to beat his opponents. And as you said for the full Sun part, go look at when he owns Vortex1337(who has full sun and a sun 2h sword). I'm telling you, the only thing a Warlock should be afraid of is a Cleric. Doesn't matter if its a Sub Cleric or Main Cleric.
I don't see why life turnover would go away with the change of a weapon. Scud in the rogue class is only available with daggers, yet when I change to X-Bow, it remains. It is an active spell. Other spells, like Guard Tambour, or various cleric blessings, are channeled spells, meaning if you change the weapon the effect is lost. Life control is not channeled, so it must be able to last when applied to other classes. In fact, I have seen clerics with life turnover; that's how all the people do freaking high damage as cleric.

just for clarification >.> what is being said is if you use dot spells and then u switch to a staff and use life turnover, would the dot dmg increase?

Yes. Yes it would. Try it out.
Edit: Um, the screenshot proves that life turnover is in effect when changed to warlock rod. It does not prove, however, that the DoT is affected.

You may have had one of the following problems:
You may have just realized that the weapon shown in the hotkey is a cleric rod instead of a staff. To solve this, please give yourself a kick in the butt.

Lol... the thing is when I dot that mob, I get normal damage with my warlock rod. After I remove my warlock rod, the damage goes to 37 (meaning I have equipped shield only). (100-161 magical damage, the magical damage I have from Int added to my stats.)
Does that mean anything to you? Dot damage depends on what your magical attack is, and it changes if the value of damage changes.
Meaning --> If I have 1st degree warlock rod, and I cast dots, switch to 9th degree Cleric rod, the damage would increase alot. If I switch to staff, and I use life turnover (my magical damage increases) --> Dot damage increases! Life turnover effects your overall damage increase, and it adds 25% to damage. I cannot say does that 25% damage effects your damage of dots, but I can say for sure that the amount of magical damage that LT adds, effects dots.

Uh, yeah. That's what I said a while ago. I guess theoretically they should get the 25% damage bonus since Turnover just says "Magical damage 25% increase", it doesn't specifically say that it's only for wizard skills. Oh well it's been half a year since I last did this, I can't remember.
i know when i switch from warlock rod to cleric rod and the dots are on my damage goes down because my warlock rod has higher mag atk power so ur theory would make sense
