best to do arenas even if you aren't geared crumpets. you only need to do 10 games a week, and you get arena points on tuesday. usually takes a week or two to get one piece of gear, so it's best to start farming points even if you're doing it in greens. granted you'll have low ratings, but you'll still be getting points. 5s team generate the most out of the 3 brackets, then 3s, and 2s. the higher the rating you have, the more points you bring in.

We cleared 4th wing yesterday, then wiped 10 times on sapphiron.. people were tired standing in the blizzards and screwing up. Tried again today and got him first try perfect down. Then went for Kel'Thuzad and we got him 3rd try. I brought chocolate cake for the raid when we would clear it.

Things I'm looking forward for: Shield Wall, Barkskin, Guardian Spirit, and Divine Protection are now off the Global Cooldown.
Tapping: All player spells which cause a creature to become aggressive to you will now also immediately cause the creature to be tapped.
All Silence spells now have diminishing returns. This includes: Arcane Torrent, Garrote silence effect, Improved Counterspell effect, Improved Kick effect, Silence, Gag Order, Silencing Shot, Spell Lock, and Strangulate.
Bonus Armor: The mechanics for items with bonus armor on them has changed (any cloth, leather, mail, or plate items with extra armor, or any other items with any armor). Bonus armor beyond the base armor of an item will no longer be multiplied by any talents or by the bonuses of Bear Form, Dire Bear Form, or Frost Presence.
Racial restrictions on mounts have now been lifted. Night elves on mechanostrider? Tauren on raptor? You’re not seeing things.
Achievement: The Loremaster of Kalimdor Achievement has had its quest amount reduced.
Icebound Fortitude now reduces damage by 20% instead of 50%. The amount of damage reduced increases with bonus Defense (to about 35% for 540 Defense, but can go higher).
Bone Shield: The mitigation has been reduced from 40% to 20%.
Avenging Wrath: Divine Shield, Divine Protection, and Hand of Protection, and Avenging Wrath cannot be used within 30 seconds of each other anymore. Forbearance removed from Avenging Wrath.
Divine Shield: The penalty has been changed so that all damage done is reduced by 50% in place of an attack speed penalty.
Fury: Titan's Grip: The hit chance penalty has been removed.
Sudden Death: The amount of rage spent on an Execute while Sudden Death is active is now capped at 30 rage. Improved Execute and the Glyph of Execution will still increase the damage done by increasing the amount of rage able to be converted into damage.
Increased the materials required to make several recipes that require cobalt.
Added a new recipe for shield reinforcements that increases the block value of shields.
Mining veins and deposits no longer require multiple hits to receive all the ore. Players will receive around the same amount of ore, stone, and gems they would have received from multiple hits.
Glyph of Charge: The stun from Charge will now work properly when Charge is used with the extra range from this glyph. By the way, my mistake with the arena thing. Crump you can grind arena for few weeks then disband your team and start a new one at fresh 1500 rating if you lose too much. Gonna do the same.

I don't think there's any tanking leather gears out there, I just saw a Feral tank today and he was wearing full DPS leather, even staff. I guess the stamina and armor multiplier does the job.

Only talent that reduces crits is Survival of the Fittest. 6% reduction is hardly uncrittable, unless I'm missing a talent somewhere.

You've got a free 0.4% crit immunity.

Noooo!
Icebound Fortitude now reduces damage by 20% instead of 50%. The amount of damage reduced increases with bonus Defense (to about 35% for 540 Defense, but can go higher).
Noooo!
There goes my uber pull 50 mobs and tank them skills.

There goes my uber pull 50 mobs and tank them skills. Frost Presence's base armour boost has been increased though, so you actually take less damage altogether now.

I just noticed this
Racial restrictions on mounts have now been lifted. Night elves on mechanostrider? Tauren on raptor? You’re not seeing things.
Does that mean Horde can use Alliance mounts? Or will you still need to get exalted with the Mount's faction?

You still need to be exalted.
Anyways, i got my alliance mage to 71 yesterday, as it's in T6, it was bloody easy. The class is still the best of them all.

The nerfs on DKs are not the major ones I'm looking for but at least it's easier for other classes to kill them now, BG will be more fun now.

Hunter nerfs were A LOT more heavy handed then I had first anticipated. 700DPS just gone in a flash. I don't like MM or Surv much though so I dunno if my hunter will see the light of day until the changes get reversed a bit.
As such, I'm now leveling a warrior and enjoying it immensely so far.
