You don't need to add anything! Sometimes not adding/taking away (effects or w/e) can improve the piece. To blend you could blur his hand (the one that is furthest away from him) and the distracting splater brushes. Then burn the body and head (the parts that are closest), but only a little bit.

I did that for you, to show you (I take no credit).
