should a lvl 52 pure int (who's been dying too much from physical attacks) use armor or protector

There's not really a need for explanations.. just vote on what you feel is better! :D

Get armor and garment sets, wear garment for grinding on mobs that you can kill in 1/2 hits and armor for hard mobs and pvp.

this kinda answers it self i think , you sad dieng by to much phy damage
and well the best phy protection you can get is armor .

the way i see it , for pure builds protector is the standard defence , gots some phy defence and mag defence , basicaly very good all round
and if you need more phy protection you upgrade to armor but this will cost you magic defence
if you need more mag defence you upgrade to garms , at the cost of phy protection

if you are a hybrid how ever this totaly changes and protector can be as good as armor or garments on a pure build

remember Suicide is a IntHybrid so he has a lot more hp to spare then you do. I would definitely take that into consideration and go for armor. You're pure int, a crit from a full str with a good enough weapon can send you back to town real quick. Go for armor and kick some ass.

Farking right.

If a Spear/Garment nuker can grind in Powers without dying, then you can too.

If you're dying too much from physical attacks then it's a clear choice to pick armor which has the most pdef.

Lvling on power earth ghost with garms isn't so bad, it went fine for me, now warriors and soldiers with garms is bad though :P

At your level the only real choice is ARMOR or DIE.
Seriously your pure int, don't screw around.

but is it a lot bettre than using protector? The mp and speed bonus are enticing..

Armour would be the better choice by far.

ill tell u exactly what to get..since i am 51 ..i have a garment set and armor set the garment set with all int or str 3 i get hit for around 700-800 non crit at mujigis ..in armor they hit 200-300..vice versa for ishades/hashades..i get hit 200-300 in my garments and 600-800 in my armor ...protector im guessing would be middle of the road around 400-500 damage on any white mob...i think imma go protector for 8 degree and maybe even 7th although i did pimp out a nice 52 armor glove today +4 parry 100% int 3 str 2 i might just go armor cause of that 1 piece ><

There are only three bad things about wearing armor as a 52+ INT player.

1. Far more damage from elite sonars and big whites at Isy. It's nice that you take less damage from elite yetis and devil yetis, but at least you can see them coming; sonars and big whites are ranged.

2. Running into another INT player who stayed in garments while jobbing or PvPing. Better pray that you block and they don't.

3. Pimping out your armor set and then reaching 64, getting one-hit in the nachal room while garment nukers have the best grind in their lives. Garment nuker in nachals > farming archer in the bandit den.

EDIT: But I still recommend armor.

lmao... 31 vs 30 x_x

well, I think i'm going armor for the following reasons:

int tabs cost less than str tabs
dunt wanna be stuck with 9th degree protector x_x
a lot more STR pvp'ers out there
Penons, yetis, and most cave monsters have physical attacks

armor seems like the way to go ^_^ even though the votes are about even =/

Well, after 62 votes it's still pretty damn even.

DAMN! If I had chosen protector (like I am now using) I would have made it 31 votes for each. :P

lol yea. I have a feeling that most of the people who voted Protector are either wearing it themselves or just think it looks cool ^_^
