Of course, someone just had to make a movie out of the already retarded amount of crap about 2012. Not going to watch, regardless of whether its just a movie or something the people that made it believe could happen.

Honestly no reasonable person is gonna believe in this crap. But I will watch the movie as I like Day after Tomarrow and this looks totally awesome.

The film is based on the fact that at year 2012, the planet X Nibiru approach the Earth, may cause polar swift, unbalance the magnetic, comet fall, etc...
Yay, im so excited. During the whole trailer until the point where it told us the directors, I was like "This HAS to be directed by the person that directed Day After Tomorrow". Who cares if they base this on the actual doomsday belief, it looks like an amazing movie. The only thing that makes me rage, is that all the footage in this movie WILL DEFINITELY be used in those stupid ass 2012 doomsday fan-made things you see on youtube. Some that we've seen here countless times because some of our fellow SRFers are paranoidfags.
On the crap behind it: Doomsday 2012 is not going to happen; it's nothing more than just snake oil for people who want to preach about "salvation" and all that wonderful stuff. Just like Y2K, the day will go unnoticed by those who don't pay attention to crap like this and everyone will wake up the next morning shit-faced from last night's end-of-the-world-party party, which is pretty much the equivalent of a doomsday (I'll give them that).
On the movie: Seems like something worth watching. I mean, it certainly won't hit my list of top movies but it seems like they did get a pretty big budget for the film. I might see it since I do enjoy watching science fiction films. The cast seems promising as well (Dear god, if I believed you exist, I'd be thanking you they didn't hire Nicolas Cage).
Im not gona believe this shit but movie itself looks cool and I really liked the day after tomorrow so maybe im gona watch this, and effects look cool...
