The blind man had a help dog, but since he wanted to go to the exotic restaurant where they didn't allow dogs, he had to leave it outside. After he ate the seagulls and came out of the restaurant, he couldn't find where his help dog was so he. killed himself

That'd make more sense if he hadn't shot himself. Perhaps run over by a bus or something.
