Yes, I know there are a few other brief topics about this game already but I decided to do a review anyway. And yes, this is an Aeria game. Probably the only one that doesn't suck diseased monkey balls. Onward.
EDIT: Mayn is the company -.-;
Gameplay The game seems smooth, you get quests, you need to use your skill points wisely, no sp farming. Relatively impressive for an Aeria game. Crafting and enchanting are available. You also get a SHIT load of various types of floating Asian style pets that actually benefit to your stats depending on which you have. Pet list.
Graphics Graphics are pretty nice to the eyes, cool skills, bloom effect. Not choppy and ugly and best of all an interface that doesn't cloud your screen with text/tiny text. Something that I cannot tolerate. Movement is smooth. Looks alot better then some of the Asian style games out there atm.
Music and Sounds Give or take, nothing special. The NPCs sound like they were English fan dubbed with a crappy recorder. Sound is eh, but who plays with the sound on usually?
Leveling and Skills Typical mmo style, you've got quests and skill points must be used wisely. No sp farming as said above and apparently there are skill reset items. The next set of equipment can be worn once you reach higher levels. The armors as well as skills are flashy and vibrant. You even get jump and sprint skills
Factions There are several choices to make during character creation. You can customize your character's appearance, but you must also choose a Faction.
Each faction has different strengths and weaknesses, as well as different weapons. However, each faction has three types of weapons. While you select a weapon at this screen, you may also purchase and use a different weapon type once in game.
* Offense - Greater attack power, but lower defense. * Defense - Greater defense, but lower attack power. * Ranged - Skills can be used at range.
Spoiler!
Guanyin (Dragon) The Guanyin are a tranquil faction, believing in harmony and balance. This has often caused foes to underestimate them, assuming that they are weak. However, there is nothing weak in these warriors, and they demonstrate that balance is a strength!
* City: Kailan Fortress * Weapons: o Sword o Blade o Marble * Gate Master: Rei
Fujin (Snake) Fujin warriors are an intimidating sight, with speed and grace in their favor. They are a stealthy faction, preferring quick strikes and even assassination.
* City: Ling Chi Fortress * Weapons: o Katana o Double Blade o Lute * Gate Master: Miko
Jinong (Tiger) Born in a brutal land, the Jinong are merciless killers. These are not misunderstood savages, they are simply savage. They have no mercy for the weak or fallen, and live for war, battle, and conquest.
* City: Ronyan Fortress * Weapons: o Spear o Light Blade o Scepter * Gate Master: Tai
Nangin (????) The Nangin are comprised of members from the 3 main Factions. Masters are given the option to join the Nangin, to leave their Guilds, friends, and lands in order to follow the mysterious Nangin Guardian.
* City: Taitu Fortress * Weapons: Nangin use the weapons of their former Faction * Gate Master: Vuo
PvP Combat
Spoiler!
Battle Grounds In Twelve Sky 2, PvP Battle Grounds are split among different level brackets. When a character is eligible for a specific level bracket, a notification message will appear in the System Messages window. This notification will occur every minute for the 10 minutes prior to the Zone opening.
* Battle Grounds Once the Zone opens, you have 3 minutes to travel to the Battle Zone. * Travel to Battle Grounds takes place through the Guard Captain NPC. (Additionally, a message pops up. If you press OK, you are automatically teleported to the war.) * After 3 minutes elapse, no more travel into the zone is allowed. * Once the Zone closes, players are granted 1 minute to prepare before the Battle begins. * There are three different types of Battles: o Annihilation: All other Faction members must DIE (Most kills wins, team deathmatch style.) o Holy Stone Destruction: The other 2 Faction Holy Stones must be destroyed. o Zone Capture: Faction must hold a formation for a set time period (Five minutes)

Faction Invasion Capturing Faction Stones

Tid-Bits Character deletion is instant. 2 easy to login server, relatively full but never a server full message. Ftp with item mall. Characters can pick either server, as in you are not bound to one or the other. Client size is 2GB.
Overview This game is actually pretty fun, I know it hasn't got much hype or maybe none at all but if you give it even just a few minutes you may like it too. The bloom effect really does wonders for the graphics. I'd say it's a game at least worth trying. I haven't had much time to play any mmo lately but the bit I was playing this I enjoyed quite a bit. So give it a try why dontcha?

LOL.
I was gonna play this but I downloaded Twelve Sky 1 by accident and then I didn't want to download Twelve Sky 2.
The 2 seem to be compared often, then noobs argue which is better. It looks like 9 Dragons has a different Asian look to it compared to Twelve Sky 2. I'll have to check 9 Dragons out and see.
Says to me the client is 2gb. Ill b wuggles as always.
Yeah, it is 2GB, my bad (again).
What server u on.
Btw is there anyway to increase attck speed. I fight like an old lady.
Jackal and I play on whichever is the least populated, it seems they are server merging soon, hope that doesn't mean one freakin over populated server. Anyway, we're still trying out all the classes.
Probably skills, there are special skills any class can get gradually in the game.
