Well i have had a blackbery storm from March with Vodafone and from the 1st Aug to now i have had 7 replacements due to faulty handsets and software problems, i got my 8th today and guess what...my SMS and emails wont show unless i reboot the phone and blackberrys take like 10 minutes to reboot after battery is taken out.
Im to the point that i dont want the phone anymore, it seems to always mess up when i need it the most. On the 5th replacement i vodafone said they would look into this and if it happened again they would look into giving me a different phone, when i told this to a person today she was like sorry we only give the same ones out.
Can someone give me ideas on what to say to these idiots, does anyone know if i can actually do anything other than just accepting a new blackberry storm.

maybe on the 3rd or even the 4th replacement you could of thought over getting the same fcking, shetty, phone again...
tell them, give me a phone, any phone that does email, ___*add other storm features here*
are u in germany, uk?
just so we can suggest to you other phones offered by your carrier

I don't think it's the phone, I think it's the service.
I live in Kitchener-Waterloo, home to RIM (people who make blackberries). Everyone has a blackberry here and generally people are very happy with their blackberries.

I was on the phone with Vodafone UK for about an hour today, about my problem and they said this is another software problem, another phone will be sent out to you next wednesday.
(The past 3 wednesdays i have stayed in my house waiting on my 'new' phones to come becuase they said between 9am and 6pm)
So anyway they just said i can only get a new blackberry storm, nothing else. 8 phones in 2 months has made me not want a new one of the same kind, i'd rather have a nokia 3310 lol.

just say that nothing on iy works, for 8 times in a row now and that you're sick and tired of getting crappy shit everytime.
And that they should srsly get you an other phone..
Though, I never liked Blackberries, their shape is so weird, and the layout too... just.. ugly...

Most services no you can't do anything accept any other phone than the one you signed the contract with. IDK phone/service providers in the UK, but I would switch to a different one. Perhaps also find a service that allows iPhones, they're awesome for all the things you apparently use your Storm for, and way more.

Phone vodafone, tell them if this problem isn't sorted out within the next week you will be terminating your contract and going else where. All companies hate this, and if they don't want to lose you as a customer they will sort the problem out, also demand you want a new phone that isn't a blackberry.

Can't they just throw it back in my face and say enjoy your bad credit then?, im guessing if i terminate the contract that i signed (12months) i will just get bad credit?

I don't see why he wouldn't want an iPhone. It's a multimedia phone. All I do with mine is music, play games, check facebook, and MSN. I don't see how that wouldn't be a attractive to a highschool student? And Crim, cost isn't bad. Mine's like $64 a month. I have a couple hundred minutes, unlimited texting, 1gb data (with tethering allowed). I use it like my homephone and would be paying $45 for my old phone + $30 for a land line (my old phone was bell and had 0 reception in my apartment... or anywhere near my apartment for that matter, so I needed a land line) + my Cousin works at rogers and told me she would take $20 off my monthly bill for the rest of my contract and $10 off my cable and internet. I barely go through 50mb data a month because i'm always on a wireless network (home, school, work). I also have Skype for unlimited calling in North America for $2.95; there's a free application on the iPhone for it.

I think they have already broken the contract by poor customer service, and they are not giving you a working product which is in your contract, so they've also broken the contract their as well. Most companies will offer a better service if you say you're going else where, because they don't want to lose a customer. Are you in the UK? If so, and that doesn't work and they still don't give you what you want my advise would be to go and talk to someone at citizens advise.

lol, it won't go on your credit report. i don't think, because the account would be an R1 (paid as agreed) your just gonna have to pay the money to back out of the contract which can be quite costly.

Called and told them i had the same problem and they guy was a really ignorant and made it out as if it was me breaking the phone and said the only options i have are it to get it repaired or they would send me a new one so i said to be honest this is like my 9th storm and i didnt want another of the same becuase this problem keep happening and he said we'll im afraid your signed the contract for a storm and it doesn't run out to March. Well that pissed me off so i asked him could i speak to his manager and when she came on the phone i explianed to her what happened and that i was going to speak the citizens advise it and to be honest i wasn't happy with the customer service i have been given and if needed i'll pay my contract off and move to another carrier. She said im very sorry about this if you will choose another phone i'll send it to you free of charge and you can keep your current phone aswell. I seen the blackberry storm 2 (9520) was only out on monday so i asked for that. She also added that the blackberry storm 2 came out becuase of the problems with the storm 9500 So I just got my New phone like 20 mins ago and it looks very slick and sexy, lets just hope there isnt problems with this. It's more like the iphone to be honest.

Should've said this before, but..
TAKE THE SAMSUNG OMNIA PRO.
It's awesome. I pay 35 euros for it a month, stuck to it for 2 years, but it is so damn good....
Only problem now, I've got like, Hi or KPN, but first had to switch over from Vodafone. I got my new phone on October 2nd, and immediately put an insurance on it. then, the 14th, I recieved a letter that my insurance has been cancelled on the second of october 2009, in stead of october 2nd 2010... damn them. and now they start Farking me that I was the one who deleted the insurance, and not that THEY made a mistake in dates.. damn them.. and now they also come to me that they can't insure my cellphone anymore because those fuckers received a letter that my insurance is cancelled. Damn you, Belcompany..

Another thing these big companies hate, is if you say you'll take this to the papers. Its bad publicity for them.

Haha indeed, my parents bought a matress from Marks And Spencers and after 4 weeks it lost shape and M&S sent out an insurance guy to our house and he said it was the way it was stored, so my mum called M&S head office and said she was taking this to the papers and we had a new matress the next week.
