fire or light to combine with ice?

well this is the scenario:

friend quit and i got his lvl 68 hybrid nuker ff...
he is bicheon light/ice wearing prot and is doing seemingly well

however...
i feel that fire/ice would be a better alternative

since i will be in a party with 2 battle bards, 1 wiz and 1 10d nuker to help
so that gets rid of the speed problem.
plus i'd get a little more diversity wile pvping

on: i really dont know. i love fire nukerz but i cant be without light, i think its a fetish for me now or something like that.

1:5 is like 85% m.bal?

yea that spoiler is wrong
unless its a hybrid spear (i hope so)
for a heavy int fire benefits with:
better fire imbue, steader aoe nukes, fire wall,(if hyb spear then somewhats phys attck)
while lightning gives:
aoe imbue, mag attck inc, speed, phantom walk, lion shouts, parry, wider ranged nukes and chain nukes.

for 1:5 imo its good to make mixed cold and light, you wont need maxed cold, its better to make 66 cold 34 light, with this you will get 90 phy def, 42% which is enough for you and 10% mag atk and 35 parry.And fire benefits alot more than light, better imbue, better nukes, mag def, immunity,2nd wall, and 19% phy which will effect your dmg quite a bit since your a 5:1.so 100heuk/fire 66 cold and 34 light is my suggestion to you. You can be 66 cold 54 light till your 90, this gives 15% mag, good speed and parry, you would have to dlvl this to 34 once you go past 90 coz your mastery limit will exceed.

already played that way in vsro, found it very entertaining, though i didnt get high enough to see how to live without snow as an int build

at 105 cap with 330 it'd be
105 bich
105 fire
68 ice
52 light

friend has that on his 1:1 bower and its working out well,
guess i'll go that way or else with another mix :-/

sorry i didnt notice it was bicheon
im sick and it was late when i posted
lion shouts come in handy if you know how much hp the opponent has
and esecially against str users
says its a warrior and you nuke them and YOU KNOW they dont have much hp left, a couple of lion shouts will finish them off
and about the lightning range im talkin about the dmg range

i know light can hit higher than fire and it dam sure is good if you have like +80% attack rating on your weapon.

problem is: it can hit much lower as well.

so with the lightning debuff on an opponent its better than fire.


well i choose intelligents bich 100/fire/100/ice x/light y (x+y=100)build so i will definitely hit harder and the pt buffs will make up for my phys def. loss from the x+y version

Get fire..you can just use drugs for speed...Fire has many advantages...You also seem like you want fire, so just pick what you want. :)

fire more damage
light more magical damage
fire disadvantage more mag damage
fire does more damage then light with the mag buff
i am a 5:1 SS nuker FIRE COLD myself and it pwns dear sir
