Computer games, console games, microvawe ovens, mobile phones, "hands-free"- its kinda weird if you see some one talking alone in the street. And more.

-The Brain (for exaple how is the brain capable of all the movements when we speak, we use around 72 muscles simultaneously. Beside of that it will be impossible for any human to control the movement of a pupped with 72 strings, even if we would have enough fingers)
-Accepted Suicide-attacker (In germany we got some slogans on our cigarette packs, and one of them is called "Smoking will cause heavy damage to you and the people around you" You can change "Smoking" with "This Bomb" and you could print it on some kind of suicide-bomber-belt.)
Just 2 of the uncountable things that are weired in our Universe

I think it's the fact that so many people in the world actually believe that our ancestors were once monkeys. I mean if science didn't have any proof on it, and if some man went outside and said "Did you know that your great great grandfather was a moneky?", he would be called a lunatic or retarded and be sent to a special hospital ^^ Please don't bring up evolution in this. And you would need to say a hundred thousand greats for it to be more realistic.

what? Assuming you're referring to the afterlife if it did exist you don't know now and if it doesn't exist then you'll just die and you won't know then. So taking that into account and all the scientific research done, the same science that heats your home, gets you to work, and keeps you healthy...your response is that some guy probably snapped his fingers and made all this happen...that is the most probable thing you can come up with...don't respond i don't want to start another debate on this im just point out another thing i find weird...people can look at the entire world, all its culture, all its complexity, all its delicate balances and subtle workings and just say some guy snapped his fingers and put it all together...like the whole world is just legos and it came with instructions...

Like I said, you as a human being will not know SHIT until you die. Why? because sadly that's the ONLY hope one has of ever finding out. Now, until some deity descends from the sky, or until scientists turn all these theory's into 100 percent pure HARD facts on where we may have came from. Everything that's been said are just theories, just because it may make sense it still doesn't mean it's necessarily right. You can't top that, and nothing you say ever will. Now go back to the religion thread. I don't want this thread to get locked.

Yes, please move this to the religion thread, before it dies.. We are running out of things to argue about there. (srs) I like Reise's reply in this thread..

Kinda gross if you think about it. lol agreed. One of the many reasons I've always hated milk. Just thinking of milk makes me feel a little barfy. I enjoy most dairy products though.

And now just think about cheese. We get this milk out of cow boobs, wait till its is building up some kind of semi-hard mass and for some cheese sorts wait for them to grow mildew all over them. Now they are ready to be eaten! It's gross somehow if you think about it, but tastes good nonetheless (well depends on the sort of cheese)

Cheese? what about yogurt, beer, anything brewed or fermented. You're drinking yeast or fermented corn or something like that. Who cares? Tastes good I'm surprised nobody brought up blood pudding or w/e the Brits eat. Or hotdogs. Intestines for wrapping, and the leftover meat inside? Should be gross, but I love 'em. Better yet, Spam! Or Vienna sausages! Yum. When it comes down to us omnivores, humans eat a lot of weird stuff. As for Ofy, I'm anti-abortion, and that's a completely different debate that I don't think we want to get into. Is it a fetus or not? Not going there man, we'll be here for weeks or until the thread is locked.
