Go to bed earlier.
Worked wonders for me, no joke.
Oh and use more energy throughout the day.

That also helped me. My brain stayed awake and wouldnt stop thinking about things otherwise. Yeah, i had the same problem about half a year ago. Every night just lay there thinking about stuff for about 2-3 hours.

Toasty mentioned using more energy throughout the day... Go for a run once a day or spend some time working out.

Working out indeed, i do pushups / situps etc every day, getting rid of some of my energy. Also, dont keep on thinking off the fact that your not to tired xD Rather be thinking that your getting tired, Mind hax, it works (so dont be turning on your TV or laptop again either coz your 'not tired')

Make sure you don't know what time it is. If you can see what time it is, you know how many hours you still got left before you have to wake up and you'll try to force yourself to sleep. This will cause you to stress and won't help to fall asleep.

Have a hot/warm bath before you go to bed. Read a book before going to bed. Listen to music that relaxes you. Don't have any caffeine, coffee, chocolate, coke etc a few hours before going to bed.

Set an alarm an hour before you want to go to sleep. When it goes off start gettng ready for bed, no matter what you are doing. Fap, take a melatonin pill, get in bed and start reading a book. You'll be asleep in no time.

sometimes i have sleeping problems, tuning discovery channel or history channel makes me fall asleep in short time, dunno why those 2 channels cause that effect. There are some herbal teas that really help a lot too, add sugar for plus effects. But i guess there's a definitive solution already mentioned above, anyway fap, have a tea, then watch discovery channel. Don't forget to set the tv on auto off

Get off the computer an hour before you want to sleep and watch tv. I have that problem myself, but I choose to stay up Watching tv will ALWAYS eventually make you tired/sleepy

Fapping/working out and doing anything that will raise your core temperature is not the best way to get a 'good nights sleep'. Yes it might make you tired but your body will take longer to enter its rest state because your body waits for your core temp to lower.
This is what my doctor told me =\ She left out the fapping point obviously..I've also heard this on the radio.
