sadly America will take the high road and represent us regardles of whether we want them to or not.

personally a represenative voted by the people of earth would serve a better use to say what we want to say

Agree with the US-voters. Then we'd get to free that extraterrestial life from whatever evil government they have. Perhaps they even would have oil..

On a more serious note, I dont think it'd work if one person or country represented the whole Earth. Perhaps it would even kickstart the next world war. :soosad:

why sadly? We have the most diverse ethnic and racial population on the planet. i doubt a single representative could capture that feeling but i mean if one country had to sum up the world no other one could do that better than we could see as we have large groups of people from all over the planet living here...

I think the best idea would be if the U.N votes for someone who could represent the entire world. Sadly, politics would make things even more difficult as each person has a set goal that doesn't always correlate with what is right for the masses. But if we had to choose someone...
