I don't think a single person would be enough to represent all of humanity. I wouldn't know who to send, but maybe a few experts in a few different fields such as mathematics, language, science, and religion.

american english, thats why. The US has different terms for things then in gb thats why people say "american", or in some options you see American English and UK English.

Wow, you are retarded wong... First of all, try going to Australia, and see how much of their version of English you can understand, then you might have a better idea of why "American English" and "UK English" exist.
Secondly: I lost my train of thought, probably due to reading your stupid ass posts. That's how retarded they are.

America isnt that old that it pre-dates modern english (someone is bound to comment on me calling it modern english but this is a point of reference from old english which is ye'ol scallywag etc also thats slang so technically not old english but again i cant be arsed to do a history lesson)

An assembly of all the Earth's most prestigious scientists would be our best bet. Maybe a few of the top religious icons to teach them of our strange customs. An artist from every genre, an encyclopedia..um.. idk what else. We'd need an alien greeting kit.

What's the point of sending someone who doesn't understand what aliens say? We need at least someone with a symbol decoding skill for translation.
