I'm doing software Engineer, creating systems and most of the time creating diagrams getting requirements and programming / testing. Maby i can help.
Got: C# (.net), Java, PHP, ASP (.net) knowledge of: PRINCE2 / UML

I apologize guys, I've been slow on the email replies, I will get on them ASAP. I've been researching on the biggest issue we would have, how the server scripting would be managed. I've looked at many ideas and the best one is exampled to Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas Multiplayer. It uses the basics of python but uses different built-in functions. Though maybe not in that way, but make our python library to be specific with the engine, and the game.

Update - New Engine - http://www.udk.com/I've currently emailed everyone who I didn't reply to. I'm gonna make a quick forum system dedicated. Also there is a new Team Leader - Undy(Jordan) So he'll be active here too so we can remain updated!

Hi gaige I worked a lot with udk but do you know you can't make a mmorpg with udk?? you can make a morpg but not a massive one cuz it only supports 64 players max.
Do the same thing as i'm doing create a fps or any other game type which is supported sell it make money and buy a license for unreal engine 3 and use atlas. atlas is such a great thing to make an mmog game.
owh btw you can make the client in udk but it isn't possible to connect it with another server:P

actually ecsro is a copycat, that is a basic forum template for Freeforums.org, I've never been to there forums, and I apologize for using a template that is designed for MMORPGS

We now have new AND OFFICIAL GAME ENGINE Please visit our website http://www.lasthopemmo.co.nr for more info! This project is looking difficult as expected, but the we are soon pass the toughest part! Though XNA supports only 32(31 other) clients, I've researched that I am able to make it work like a p2p but have the server manage everything  This looks as if it takes a lot of resources and bandwith, BUT it actually is a very useful way to manage So clients will only communicate with each for things such as text, and user to user, then the client will communicate with the server with the SECURE data, so it will only max out 2on2 connections (one with another client, and one with the server). Though this makes a huge other project for us! we need to make a server that will store and communicate data! OR  Make the Client run a sub-program that the game proxies too via local server and have that program THEN communicate to the server. This program would handle all the incoming connections and clients via server meaning its capacity = servers. Though this method can be flawed if not made correctly as people would be able to mod this program for potential hacks. Though this method would be the easiest

I might be interested in helping out. I'm halfway through obtaining my bachelors of science in computer science. Most of my programming has been in Java and VB, but a lot of my learning has been in programing theory. Picking up a new language is relatively easy. I see you will be using C#, already on my list of languages to learn. Sounds like an interesting and challenging undertaking. Perhaps I could be of some use in the near future. By the looks of it this will be a long drawn out process (as is any game development). I'll be checking in for updates.

owh btw you can make the client in udk but it isn't possible to connect it with another server:P Games using UDK, Unreal Engine 3, Blade and Soul, Tera Online, Stargate Worlds... Huxley is already out and that also uses UT3. And MU2 will be using UT3 also. Did you know those are called MMORPGs and they will have more than 64 players?

I haven't seen an update about this project in a while...seems like it might have been joke. I see the project lead posting in other threads without mentioning whats going on here. Like so many other projects was this one a joke too?
