My first shot at customizing my desktop, not too bad I guess. I've got a matching visual style that goes with it as well, so I suppose its a teal design.
how do you guys get this kind of desktop is it for macs only or can vista do this too?

http://rainmeter.net/RainCMS/ Enigma Skin[Comes default in rainmeter] *These are the icons shown on the bottom right hand corner, CPU HDD Ram Power, Weather, etc with edited colors.
**editing the .ini files in any of the rainmeter skins is pretty straight forward. for things such as #weather# just replace it with weather codes, from weather.yahoo.com
** color codes will be in rgb form. something like this: FontColor=133,242,255 FontSize=32 FontFace=#Font#
sometimes there are preset variables such as: [Variables] Font=HelveticaNeue LT 35 Thin Colour=255, 255, 255 With this, it applies it to the entire skin, unless changed otherwise within specific areas. And as you acn see, the default color was white. The font associated with simplesentence 2 is by default kremlin, but i prefered a sleek look, and used HelveticaNeu LT 35 Thin.
Fonts can be downloaded here: Download *Taken from Noob_Slayers helvetica thread.
-* goodluck, it shouldn't be too hard, considering It was my first time ever doing that.

Did you even bother to read the "ReadMe.txt" files? Download simplesentences to your documents, under the rainmeter folder. Right click on rain meter -> skins -> simplesentence. From there it should be pretty straight forward.
(it's just a standard Enigma theme, with only some things removed, and all the shit in the top I never use, the weather is from some place else, and I actually have no idea what that thing in the top right means...)

You can right click things and press exit. I'm pretty sure that weather app doesn't work. Omnimo is a great Rainmeter skin.
I know, but then it's kind of a waste to have taken it..
then to think I only wanted that text on my screen for slick looking notes (those damn windows post-its look like shit!) so I wanted it styled like what Heos and the short one have, but I fail at being technical..
Btw, I can't get that music thingy to work, wtf is that all about then?

Switch back and forward a lot so I'll just post both(Although there isn't really a big difference.).

Yeah, inspired by this thread. Wasn't hard at all, you were right Also, running a dual-screen setup ftw (L) Now I only need to remember which program it was which allowed me to apply 2 different backgrounds
JESUS CHRIST AM I SERIOUSLY THE MOST NOT-TECHNICAL PERSON IN THIS WHOLE Farking FORUMS!?
FFS I STILL DON'T Farking GET IT! I DOWNLOADED.. SOMETHING OFF THAT WHITE BARON THING BUT THERE IS NO FUCKIN' SIMPLE SENTENCE IN THAT WHOLE THING. WHY THE **** ISN'T THIS SHIT WORKING AND WHY WON'T YOU PEOPLE JUST GIVE ME THE DAMN CODES YOU USED ON SIMPLESENTENCE SO I CAN AT LEAST SEE HOW IT WORKS. GOD DAMNIT.
FFS HELLOOOOOOO DO I LOOK LIKE I'M SMART? I HAVE A FUCKIN' MILEY CYRUS PAINT-MADE SIG AND A FUCKIN' G-DRAGON PAINT-MADE AVATAR. WHY DON'T YOU PEOPLE GET IT? I'M AS UNTECHNICAL AS ****!
edited it to what it is in here by closing some skins
Spoiler!
editing doesn't work for shit because I don't know what to change in that notepad file. all those things are codes, now you try to tell me that if someone is smart enough to find a link to simplesentence that actually works and they can make it their personal little thingy, they don't understand what I want to have from them? damn.
people said there was a download link in that White Baron "tut" (more like a fuckin' OMG LOOK WHAT I CAN HAS MAKED thingy with people who totally understand that praising him about it) what I donwload looks like shit. It's just a notepadfile with random shit that I don't get and it's A LOT.

That is a RAR file, not a text file. Notepad is used for opening text (.txt, .rtf, etc) files, not RAR. A RAR file is a compressed file. If you didn't know what a RAR file was you could have Google'd the extension (RAR) and looked at your options for opening the file. You may use WinRAR or 7-zip for uncompressing that file. You're not lacking technical skill, you're lacking common sense.
If you're unable to apply desktop mods by yourself, then you probably shouldn't be modding in the first place. And if you're still unable to attain a minimal level of technical know-how, you should at least learn to use common decency when asking for assistance. Ignorance is not an excuse.

TL;DR: Issue caused by severe case of PEBKAC.
huh? what's that?
And I asked 2 people friendly. one didn't respond, the other didn't "understand" what I was asking for.
