2.He's a wanted man
Argentine chef Nicolas Bedorrou was so angry after Paul correctly predicted his team would lose its quarter-final clash with Germany that he suggested a way to cook the octopus.
He posted on Facebook: "We will chase him and put him on some paper. We will then beat him (but correctly!) in order to keep the meat tender and then put it in boiling water."

And what of the Germans? After Paul's prediction on July 6, death threats and recipes from Paul's own countrymen were sent to his owner. Now that his prediction has proven true and Paul's World Cup 2010 picks remain 100% accurate, the AP reported that most Germans are now thinking about Paul fried in garlic butter.

10. He's not scared of death threats
According to his keeper, Oliver Walenciak, Paul is unfazed by a series of death threats sent by Argentinian supporters who blame the octopus for their World Cup exit.
He said: "There are always people who want to eat our octopus but he is not shy and we are here to protect him as well. He will survive."

Despondent crowds insulted both Paul and his mother in Berlin. Other soccer fans have posted octopus recipes on the Internet in not-so-veiled threats to Paul's wellbeing.

But the Spanish government has come to his defense: "I am concerned for the octopus ... I am thinking of sending him a protective team," joked Spain's Prime Minister Jose Luiz Rodriguez Zapatero on Radio Cadena Ser.

Environment and Fisheries Minister Elena Espinosa also expressed worries, the AFP reported: "On Monday, I shall be at the European Council of Ministers and I shall be asking for a (fishing) ban on Paul the octopus so the Germans do not eat him!"

umm they didn't tell you Paul has special powers so his prediction will go through? In '08 he was only training them, but now he's honed his craft and he's fate himself.

Go Paul! Make the Netherlands champions

haha yeah that already crossed my mind :P I think that would only be fair after the amount of times I and a lot of other Dutchies posted that pic.

I'd be able to handle a loss to Spain, but I'd lose it if we lost to Germany. Luckily, I won't have to experience either because Netherlands is going to take this :D
I'm gonna check the first pages of this thread where I called Netherlands becoming world champion. I've been a firm believer in our capabilities from the start

Actually i'm not favoring either, because the teams i liked were kicked out early(Japan, South Korea).

But i want spain to win because Ikerman is pure awesome :sohappy:

Haha. And now we're rolling the world being undefeated for 27 (or something close) matches.

It'd be insane if we take it down. Van Marwijk's face just gives it away, we're gonna grab it.

Lol, Van Persie will probably try to make a goal on his own while he could've passed it off to someone else that had a clear shot. And that in the last few mins to decide the match or something.

Holland should win, just like Brazil should've won from us.

This cup is for the Dutch simple. Putting presure like the Switz did and they can't reach their midfields. Putting the presure on Puyol and the wing is open for Robben... put Elia in on 70's minute and the speed is their. v Bommel for the midfield to control David Silva.. should work :)

Or
Spain wins coin toss > xavi gets ball > pass pass pass pass pass > 30 yard goal by alonso > pass pass pass > game ends > xzaz cries

will definitely work :)
