It also says (in Dutch): "The referee-drink in Soccer City was fun.. REALLY!"
It's a joke  because Van Bommel always sucks up to referees and then gets away with dirty fouls. Us Dutchies are completely legit nonetheless :sohappy:

At first I didn't notice that everyone there was a ref. :palm: Then I looked closer and I was like  , then read your post and.. :sohappy:

I knew it was a joke, anyway, I'm not THAT dumb. I just couldn't understand it, because I don't know van Bommel that much ('cept the fact that his dirty fouls are never booked). Thanks for explaining.

This cup is for the Dutch simple. Putting presure like the Switz did and they can't reach their midfields. Putting the presure on Puyol and the wing is open for Robben... put Elia in on 70's minute and the speed is their. v Bommel for the midfield to control David Silva.. should work :)

Or
Spain wins coin toss > xavi gets ball > pass pass pass pass pass > 30 yard goal by alonso > pass pass pass > game ends > xzaz cries

will definitely work :)

Havn't you seen Holland - Brazil? Same story with Spain... Spain has good players but the team isn't that good.
Again, look at the second half of Spain vs Switzerland, their is so much space if you open up in the flanks.
And with respect (not that the Dutch had a difficult group) but:
- Chili
- Zwitserland
- Honduras
- Portugal (mua)
- Paraguay
- Germany
The game against Germany was a good game from Spain, but Germany didn't play and where to passive. Ahh we will see what it will be. I am sure Holland will score the question is what will Spain do :)

This team is a better team then we had in 2006. Spain has one thing: they play good football and nice football, holland plays very good football (winning is everything how it doesn't mather). So for the football fans, Spain should win.
.
Its like England, they suck with their National team, everything thinks they are good but they realy suck. Just because they have one of the strongest national competitions doesn't make the national team very good. The national competition is almost made by foreign players.

Spain has very good players, but 11 very good players doesn't make a team. And whe have seen that with East Germany that a good team can win a worldcup (1974)

Are you even serious?
Spain have got AMAZING players (Xavi, Piqué, Iniesta, Villa, Casillas and Sergio Ramos overall, for me) and they DO HAVE teamplay.
Did you watch what Xavi and Iniesta play like? That's just as though they're reading each other's mind. Sometimes they can be arrogant (see Pedro against Germany), but if they are, it is because they know they can.
And go tell me another team who can have people like Fabregas, Mata, Marchena, David Silva, Torres, Victor Valdes on the bench.

With all the due respect, Holland do have good players (Sneijder, Robben, Van Persie, Kuyt, Van der Vaart, de Jong, Van der Wiel), but their class and technique can't be compared to Spaniards'. They, although oughta say, have one of the best teamplay I've ever seen. They won't give up (see against Brazil), they fight for each ball and can actually play together sacrificing themselves (maybe van Persie is a little assumptive, but every team's got one).

So let's say Spain are better at technique but slightly less at teamplay, whilst Holland are the opposite.
Gotta see what, between flair and team work will prevail.

The heat is fucking up your mind, xzaz! I think this will be really exciting like Brazil - Netherlands. I would also not say Spain sucks, they're awesome. They dominated the Germans. Maybe the Germans had an off day, but Spain outplayed them hard too. They didn't become Euro 2008 champions for no reason.

Don't get me wrong, i am not saying Spain sucks, but you can see their weekness in the play from Switzerland. They don't realy have finishers...
Spain has good players, but i stand with my statement that their team isn't that good as the team of Japan or Brazil or Holland.
@woutR
Thats not true, they outplayed Poland with 4-0, great play. Remember it was only 1-0 against Germany and we the Dutch al know that the Germans don't need many changes to score.
The game from Holland against Brazil 1-0 first 45 minutes for brazil.
Remember who scored the goal against Germany? Yes no attacker no number 7 no number 10... a defender. Spain couldn't get trough they didn't score. And we al know how the Germans play their football.
Again we will see on Sunday how it will end, and yes it will be a difficult match for both teams.

You high on something? :soosad:

Villa has been one of the best strikers in the last three years. Torres is having a bad world cup, but he's been injured for a lot of time and it's pratically him who takes up Liverpool. Mata is not well known, nor is he a true striker, but his dribbling his hella good. Llorente is not known either, but he showed some skills against Paraguay. Pedro started as advanced midfielder, but he scored over 20 times this season.

No finishers, uh?

I think these ones, supported by people like Xavi, Iniesta, David Silva, Xabi Alonso, Fabregas are more than enough to be called "finishers".

Make your mind up, menz. :slap:

^I already posted a picture that was discussed and showed by fifa. Both the fifa, and tv programs said he clearly wasn't offside.
Fudge still didn't believe me tho.

We are taling about this worldcup,
Spain: 7 goals
Holland: 12 goals
And its good you can drible or show some skills, but where are the goals? Showing your good isn't enought.
van Persie sucks in this tournament, but isn't a bad player either. A striker needs to score and if you don't do that you aint good (in that position)

If you keep the 0, indeed it doesn't mater howmuch you score.. one problem, you can't lose in the final, you can in the group face.
