mobo info: http://www.gigabyte.com/products/produc ... id=3440#ov

some remarks:
1/ It's a mobo that supports ddr3, yet u are buying ddr2 RAM.
So u have that replace ur RAM.

2/ U ask us about the graphic card, but we don't know what u'll use it for?
Gaming, photoshop? or just the occasional paint/solitaire?

3/ 150$ shipping cost WTF

4/
Case? check
Powersupply? check
Motherboard? check
CPU? check
HD? check
RAM? check
Graph card? check
DVD-reader? check

5/ U might wanna check the measurements of the graph card & the length of ur case, cuz sometimes they don't fit >.<

Thank you for the response.
I knew something was wrong, glad you noticed it.

About the graphic card i will mostly use it for gaming probably so i am getting a nvidia GTX 470 GeFORCE, but the price as it shows worries me due of it low cost.

And yeah, about the measurements of the gc with the length of case will ocassionaly give me troubles so i need to take in mind that.

Again, thank your for your advice.

U selected the GTX 465, costs 240$
It has the fifth place in their benchmark, which is def not bad.

But the GTX 470 is gonna give u a better performance.
All depends ofc on preferences ( ATI or Nvidia) & ur budget.
Also note, u can sometimes profit by buying a graphic card from Asus, MSI, Sapphire, ...
They take the original card/chipset & do small tweaks, gaining that little bit more performance. Also, they often sell it in a bundle. eg. GTX 465 + Starcraft II

in terms of price per performance the 460/465 are better more stable draw less power and a better buy on a budget

also depends on your screen size. if your running max resolution 2560x1600 the gtx 465 will run most games at max settings but struggle a little in a few like crysis and the new Aliens vs Predators. At 1920x1200 the benchmarks for the gtx 465 shows it can handle most games but you might run into issues with the higher end games (like 2560x1600). anything lower then 1920x1200 you should get a nice frame rate at max settings.

also the gtx 465 is i would say in between the 5830 and 5850.

everything else looks fine (fix the ram but someone already said that) however i would suggest an after marker cpu cooler. stock coolers work but it does not help air flow because it pulls air down into the cooler. but one of the "tower" looking ones drags air across it and help get the hot air out of the case. also make sure when you build the computer to have the cables tucked behind the motherboard plate in the case. provides better airflow and it would also help to try switching the direction of your fans to get even better airflow. best way to tell if your airflow is good is to take the side panel off. if your components heat up then you did good but if they cool down you got to rework the airflow.
