Today appeared an interview with a silkroad developer in mmorpg.com

"Joymax is also committed to frequent free updates to the game, reminiscent of traditional expansion packs. These include new lands, levels and skills for players to explore and learn. On top of that, there are the regular small updates and bug fixes.

Currently, they're hard at work planning a new update that is due out in the next couple months, likely before the end of the year. Unfortunately, at this time, they are still not revealing any details of what it include."

Not really an announcement more than a vague indication of when it will come.

Only announcement that matters is on the official site.

That wasn't even an interview, merely someone's report after talking to that guy. Of course he forgot to mention the criticisms from the fan base.

The funny part is that that update is not euro....that update is takla mayan -_- :banghead:

everybody knows that takla is due around xmas, i'm more interested in other extra's that patch or those to come will bring us.

Although it dosen't really give us any info on anything...it's still good to know that they are actually PLANNING to do something new for us. It has been a while since anything interesting happened like an Event or something. The most interesting thing iv'e seen for a while is the weekly server inspection...and thats pretty interesting.
