I finally got my computer fixed, but got it in Windows 2000.(Because my old windows version was pirated). When my computer was winXP, SRO worked. Now, even tho its the same computer, same hardware, its not working. First time I run SRO, it said i had to install DirectX9.0b. I did that. Then I tried again but it said some error with C++. Can u help me?

best bet would be to upgrade to winxp. win2000 is great in a power user's perspective but support for games in it is dismal. good luck

have you updated you GFX drivers and all your other drivers to the latest? Have you ran SP4 on your win2k?

It should work with 2000 because XP is built off of 2000.

Basiclly make sure that you have all the drivers and OS updates downloaded and installed.

Try DirectX 9c and update your drivers. I had the same prob after a fresh install on my laptop and this fixed it.
