Which is better to farm with and what lvl is the best?

Bard? Nuker? Wizard?

Which can kill the faster if you get ksd?

Bard if it can 1shot the party mobs. That is if you're talking about pfarming.

sorry forgot to say plvl at ongs. What lvl bard is good to 1hit mobs?

I think you need a lvl 80-85 bard with 80-85+5 harp and some decent int on your weapon/gear. And farmed skills ofcourse. 76+ if you can get a SoX harp

I'm a lvl 82 bard, 2-gap, and I can one-shot pt ongs with a +3 harp AND devil spirit or 20% dmg increase. I have +3 to +6 int on almost all equip. Trigger scrolls help too. I'd still guess an 85 bard could do it pretty easily with good equipment.

Bard can 1 hit ongs at:
76 with a SOM harp and suit with 5% damage and ff skills
80 with a +5 harp, suit +5% damage, ff skills
85 with a +5 harp and ff skills

oh and all with 100-105% mag. balance

wiz can 1 hit ongs at:
60 with a +5 staff, suit with +5% damage (and in this example with higher than 104% mag. balance)
64 with a +4 staff, suit with +5% damage
68 with a +3 staff

this all applies to a character with 100-105% mag. balance and a maxed wizard skill tree for meteor, fire bolt, earth shock and frozen spear


Nuker can 1 hit (Nuke) ongs at:
64 with a +5 weapon, +5% damage suit
68 with a +3 weapon, +5% damage suit
72 with a +3 weapon

this applies to a light nuker with maxed skills, 100% mag. balance (+/- 2%)
for a fire nuker, subtract one + from the weapon and 2% mag. balance from the necessary numbers

Agreed, but you either need to have FB int equipment to do it and a strong harp - mine is 247 AR and +81 on reinforce with +41% on mag attack power - @ 82 or it's looking like 85 is more likely.

you only need +30 int from all your equipment to get 105% mag. balance.

thats 3 int on every set piece except for weapons, which is rather easy to achieve in a few hours

the bard attacks would only be used for killing ongs.
you'd be throwing away the sp if you wanted to carry on with the character.
wiz would be quickest without any ksers
bard would be quickest with ksers

lvl 90+ nuker, nothing can ks those shouts(except another nuker) and its very fast, only experienced it once and for an hour and that dude was FAST

But it isn't perfect

The spawnpoints dont usually give enough monsters to elevate a nuker higher than others by means of kills/minute. Just by means of being able to ks the shit out of others,
or, if judged by terms of fighting an equal (i.e.) other nuker, not letting a few ksed kills stop the flow ( 1 thing bards can't do after a certain amount of monsters in the area).

A rogue on the other hand can take out monsters in the vicinity if his current spot does not offer anything.
That's why the rogue of ourlittle farming group is mowing down 25 monsters a minute :D

The nuker has to be like 90+ or even 100 though.

oh you quoted before i could add that.

yeah they have to be at least lvl 90.
Without SOM, they'll have to go with about 110% magical balance and at least a lvl 98+7 weapon
