Not at all, I felt like my brain was completely shut down and nothing of value even in an amusement sense was introduced. I actually watched this movie right when it came out just to confirm that it would be exactly what I thought it was and it in that sense it didn't disappoint, play by play exactly what I expected and I mean play by play.
Then again without making much of a remark here I immerse myself a bit too much in manipulation, history and philosophy to omit the obvious intent behind this film. Without making myself sound way too pretentious my last thought will be that if you are completely/largely ignorant to the things I just mentioned you will likely enjoy the film and feel like you learned something new, said new things of course being by no means factual and a complete distortion of reality.
A movie is a movie. Although I'm assuming that by "completete distortion of reality" you mean that buisness is nothing like that IRL? I don't know much about the share market and all. But would you like to tell me what isn't exactly true? I'm actually really curious bout buisness now

As for the first one, it's amazing how both Charlie Seen and Michael Douglas are in the previous movie and the actual one

Does the first movie shows/explains how exactly Gordon got in prison for "something something".
