Mesmers on the original game was based on Hexes. They removed Hexes from the second game. Mesmer wut u be sir? :(

Wonder if it's the Engineer(with all their packs,grenades,etc) or the Necromancrt (lich form,death shroud,etc) that has the most skills.

Ele has the most skills by far and necro I believe follows due to elite + shroud.

I don't think the Elementalist does have the most skills. Sure they have 4 Attunements but they're limited to Wands/Focus, Staff and Daggers. Dunno.

And the Ice Bow - But Engineer get 5 skills just from entering Turret, Grenade , Flamethrower mode + all their packs. That's already at least 15+ skills without even counting their normal weapon skills.

Hmm not too familiar with the information you are providing and a very brief look over the skill list on wiki didn't suggest anything along those lines. I thought the way it worked was that you got to equip one of those kits and then there were stuffs like elixers that gave random buffs but in the end I guess we'll have to look into it.

Basically (if I remember right), there's a utility skill that activates the Grenade set (Which will replace you're five weapon skills by Grenade skills), same for the other sets.

g star has a running demo so hopefully we'll get some new videos/info from that.

Not sure of how accurate it is but it does a great job at giving us a better presentation of what the skill sets look like.

edit: norn seem to have more skills available at least for necro and ele, not cool. Actually this isn't the point I am trying to make at all, I don't like racial exclusives of any kind. Way to ruin the perfect experience A net d bags, now I am going to be stuck with a semi perfect experience, gg.

Wait what? I don't get what you mean by a "Norn Ele" has more skills than let's say a "Human Ele". Racial abilities aren't related to profession, any Norn <Profession> has the same racial abilities. As they've mentioned before, the concept behind them is a dumbed down version of some of the actual profession skills.

Also made a small playlist(including the video you posted, thanks for share <3) of the couple G*Star '11 gameplay we have so far. Mostly interesting to note some new armor they're showing off.

The Human racial "Prayer of Kormir" for example is available for any Humans of any professions. Correct me if I'm wrong :shock: .

When I was playing with the skill calc I saw that a human ele had 2 skills locked for the second half of the skill bar so I assumed that meant norns somehow had more skills as they only had 1 locked but that doesn't seem to be the case as they both actually have 16 skills available for those slots and they appear to be the same. With that said I am not going to further speculate about what those locked slots are as they could be anything including an input error in the calculator itself, so yeah ( thinking is something far more simple like unreleased skills or racials, no further speculation starts after typing this clearly ).

Updated the G*Star '11 playlist with some fresh videos of the new build. (The first few videos are mediocre gameplay videos, I suggest you skip them)

It's freaking amazing, they've reworked cinematic, animations, how you gain skills, and are showing off a bunch of new gear. Plus, they've added more to the Human character customization (You can finally make your character look Canthan, Krytan, Ascolinian and soon Elonan)
