I purchased a name change scroll and when I select a character name that I like and that is availible to choose I get disconnected when I hit submit, is everyone getting this error?

I do not mean to assume, but if you are running a bot program at the time, it might be the cause of the problem, or probably any other type of program runing with SR.
Try restarting your pc also.

No, this is with the original client, I also restarted everytime I got disconnected.

maybe you have some time related quest? your in job mode? your in some area you cant be, (go to town), try taking off all your gear.

Left guild
Cancelled all quests
Left job

My current name isn't really bad but when I created the character the name I wanted was taken so I used 3's instead of e's so it looks quite ulgy, the name I want is great.
